Bankingitbig
Don't know much about him. This article paints a fairly positive picture of him and his ties to Porzingis. Seems to be focused on player development.
LucastheThird
Makes sense, the G league is just another branch of Hawks University now. Having a head coach that fits with our model makes sense.
ATLSmith
Well, a focus on player development is deffinitly what you want in your G league coach.
Premium Member sturt Posted July 25, 2017 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 25, 2017 Remind me again, when did you say Porzingis is eligible for free agency??? (hehe) So, yeah... broken record, this is to me the biggest story of the off-season, ie, what's going to happen to make our player development stronger given the losses of two coaches to other NBA teams, and now, one to a top-tier Euro team? And all the more so, now that 3 more roles (HC + presumably 2 assts) have opened up in Erie. All I want to know is that Bud is the engineer/architect of this part of the machine. If he feels good about Coach X in Role Y, I'm feeling good about it, too.
