As Kevin Gausman has quickly proven to be a valuable addition to the Braves' rotation, he has benefited from the enhanced offensive production Dansby Swanson has recently provided while attempting to keep his starting role. Swanson certainly improved his bid as he notched his first career multi-homer game and provided more than enough support for Gausman, who delivered a much-needed eight-inning effort as the Braves claimed a 6-1 win over the Pirates at PNC Park on Tuesday night.
