Listening to Sports talk today; most excitement about basketball in Georgia maybe in my lifetime

So I've lived in Georgia since the mid 80's.  I started watching the Hawks on the Superstation.  Nique did amazing things for the city but he never made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs.  I dialed into the local sports talk shows today as I went to the office first time in a while post-COVID.  It's really exciting what Trae is doing this year and the type of star he is growing into.   I had a feeling that Trae was a better fit for Atlanta than Doncic with the type of swagger and flair he plays with.  No matter what happens the rest of the year I think Trae has legendary status in this city.  It will be cool to see how he develops and how the Hawks can use him to recruit other free agents.

Remembering Bill Tush and the German Shepard with peanut butter in his mouth giving the news. Both national and local. What a blast from the past. Loved TBS back then and their Friday Night Fright movies as well. Uh especially Friday Night Frights....parents could never understand.

Yah, Loved the Superstation.  I remember turning on and watching Hawks game as a kid.  Loved Doc, Randy Whitman, Tree, Roundfield, and Nique.
