Weird throwback insertion this weekend.

So I'm talking to an old friend this weekend and this came up, "Man how nice would it have been to have Lorenzen Wright in his prime coming off the bench in these playoffs?"

 

Everyone take a second and pour one out for LoWright....one of the better human beings to ever put on a Hawks uniform.  It legit made me sad. Was just an out of the blue conversation insertion while talking Hawks.

Very sad for Lorenzen Wright but that trade for him was an abysmal mistake for the Hawks.  He played for us for two seasons and wasn't particularly good either year (played 16 minutes per one season and when he played more the following year his scoring efficiency looked like a PG).  

With the picks we traded for him, we could have had Amare Stoudamire (drafted one spot after that pick) and Quentin Richardson (drafted with our pick).  

Definitely mourn his loss but won't pretend that our adding him was a good move.
