Bulldog fans

I only every once and a while watch College football. But

the Bulldogs have a player(I think a DE) named David Polleck

that seems to make big plays. Does this guy have a future

in the NFL you think?

Yes. He was projected as a 1-3 round pick (likely a late second/early first this season). He came back by choice not out of necessity.

I think he would be ideal for a 3-4 lineup because he is not as big as most pro-DEs but has a motor that never stops. He'll be successful in the NFL, IMO.

I think he is a poor man's pat kerney. he should be decent in the nfl.

He is better in college than Kerney was but both are similar in that they are good, white defensive linemen with non-stop motors. I think they'll have similar draft positions.

I think kerney is a better all around athlete and has better size which makes him more than a motor guy. i just cant see pollack being as dominant as he has been in college in the nfl. i see him as a solid starter... not a pro bowler by any means

Kerney hasn't been as dominant in the NFL as he was in college - he has been a solid starter. Do you consider Kerney a pro bowler because he was a third alternate for the team one year?

Again, I think Pollack is ideal for a 3-4 defense where he can play the kind of DE/LB role that allows an undersized end to excel in the NFL.
