KB21
Hmm. Cal Bowdler had 10 points and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes for Minnesota. The numbers were down for some of the players today. I wonder if they are getting a bit fatigued.
Admin capstone21 Posted July 20, 2002 Admin Report Share Posted July 20, 2002 I am not worried about any numbers coming from summer league play whether they be high or low. A lot of players are trying to impress GMs and coaches are as a result are playing for themselves. Its not the same team game that we will see during the season. Theo has nothing to prove except that he is healthy. 19 minutes is a solid start. Its just good to see the guy playing. We will see his impact come season start. Gambit99
I wonder if Cal will turn out like another ex-hawk that couldn't get on the court for us, but went to the King's and is a key role player...a la Scott Pollard
jaywalker72
Good to see Cal getting some run out there....I hope it's enough for him to make a roster, because he didn't deserve the benching he got here. He shouldn't ever be confused with a starter with us, but IMO, he was a better fit for the 4/5 than Hanno was. A good guy, a good jumper, and I hope he makes it...
