phoostal
I beleive Childress didn't work out for us either. But, I don't care if it is Deng or whoever was picked after Childress. The main point I'm trying to make is that from what I have seen so far this year from Childress he should not have been the 6th pick. It doesn't mean he could not develop, I'm just going on what I have seen. You bring up good points for Childress(even though I could careless about his ball handling in college, he is in the NBA now). Only time will tell if these qualities will have him blossom into a star player. I still think I need to see more than rebounding, ball handling, and IQ. You need a little more than that to be a star in this league. P
pathway23
Childress, Deng, and Iguodola all worked out for Atlanta I believe in the same workout, and Knight liked Chill most....
Premium Member Diesel Posted January 27, 2005 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 27, 2005 Childress worked out with Josh Smith... Imagine that. Iguodala worked out with Damien Wilkins and it may have been homerism but some said that DW got the best of him. I think Deng snubbed us. Unless there was a 2nd workout that was done in secret... there was not a workout with JC/LD/AI workout. There was however a: Harris/Gordon/Nelson/Livingston workout... I would have liked to seen that one..
