Did you not hear me? I said the deal would be nice for 3 years, but down the road it could be a problem. But currently, and for the next couple years Gary Payton would demolish Jason Terry. If you ask any analyist who they would take between JT and GP? Guess who they would take?

Terry vs. Gary Payton: 43%fg 25PPG 6.5APG 1blk 1SPG 4RPG

Payton vs. Terry:34.2%fg 4RPG 10APG 17.5PPG .5blk

He had alot of assist, but look at that shooting and the down scoring

He killed him alright.Looks like Terry got the better of him to me.

Honestly,what they say doesn't matter.But as I said,it is dumb unless

you are planning short term.NO TRADE.

Payton showed his age in the playoffs anyway. Not only did Parker run

over him,but Payton only averaged 5.8APG.

Payton is aging.

Yea the same analyst that say Dickau is a better PG than JT right? and the same analyst that say that Atlanta still might not even make the playoffs. Those analysts suck and know jack $hit about Hawks basketball, especially when they keep saying that JT is not a PG. Dumba$$es.

I dont understand why no one appreciates JT he is in my opinion one of the top PG in the league. Unless we get another player who is similar in age and ability it is pointless. I have said it before DD isn't as good as many on this site believe, I've been watching the Zags Dickua racked up big numbers against cupcake opponents. If we trade JT DD better average 20PPG 12APG 3SPG otherwise I will consider it the final straw after 20+ years of being a Hawks fan I will switch to the Clippers.
