I saw something similar on the trade board at Real... I was thinking about it from a Hawks fans perspective... and If you like Pierce, there are definitely some pluses and minuses...

The problem is I don't know how I feel about Pierce right now. I'm almost tempted to ask, what could we get for him in a three way?

The real funny part is that I don't have a problem with Lafrentz.

this one makes me ill. Trading the second overall pick for Pierce and Lafrentz.

We can get equal players to both in Free agency for similar money and hold on to the number 2 selection.

3 years ago I would've been all for this. I don't want to go this route now though. This smells too much like a Pete Babcock type trade. (not attacking you personally with the Babcock reference) Babcock was the king of trading away our draft picks for players that aren't worth what they're getting paid.
