  1. Baze is Lou and Cartier in one body.
  2. I've run Love/Martin for Milsap/Teague/Jenkins/Antić with a pick swap and its come out fine moneywise. Dont know if either team actually does that though.
  3. No draft? I'm like a European prospect who destroys chairs on grainy filmed workouts.
  4. Didn't CViv and Jason Walker have a quick Twitter war over Cviv doing the same stories Jason had just done?
  5. Yes! I'll take Bazemore. Him, Payne and Mike Scott would keep our locker room nice and loose during the season. Great talent and locker room guy. From what I hear GS would keep him on the bench just for his energy.
  6. I was there too. I worked the Terminus Legion Tent. It was a much better turnout than I'd expected. And its the old Hawks colors!
  7. Y'all should check out Terminus Legion. Its one of the supporter groups that's sprung up and they already do lots of events.
  8. Have we been overlooking PHX as a trade partner? They have 3 first rounders AND are looking for some veteran leadership for the rest of the year. Teague doesn't make sense, but Milsap would make a ton of sense wouldn't he?
  9. London has more money than any city in Europe. Maybe Berlin and Paris rival it.

I wonder if his legs are the same length? If one is shorter than the other it could explain everything, his hips throwing his legs and back out of whack.
  11. This would kill small markets. In addition to staying in school, you'll see players run to European teams for a year or two.
  12. Porochov is already paying Avery and Frank to sit at home. Does he fire Kidd also? Pay a third coach to do nothing?
  13. This may be the best assist Joe Johnson has given in his Hawks career.
  14. From an ESPN article about tanking Looking at the Nets needs about 4 games to have an idea of where they'll be and 34 to know for certain.
  15. Bebe is absolutely the key to our off season. He needs to be able to come back from that tendonitis. If we can't get Parker or Wiggins then we should look at a center IMO. Embiid or Cauley-Stein seem like the best idea for where we may end up. We'd have an amazing front court rotation of Horford, Milsap, Bebe, Embiid/Cauley-Stein plus Ayón and Antić (if picked up). Add that to the rest of our roster and we can easily lure a SF or SG here to start in place of DeMarre.
  16. I have to actually catch myself now being TOO giddy about this. Wondering how bad Brooklyn will actually be. Wondering how many ping pong balls they'll end up. Which player will walk into a great situation of a playoff team with a high pick. And the fact that media (followed by fair weather fans) will pay attention and we'll have the team we've always wanted. But can you be too giddy about it and jinx it?
  17. I think Chillz, Acie, and Mario would have been fantastic bench players/spot starters in this system. Woody seemed to never define roles where Bud has. And everyone is happy to play them. At least so far.
  18. I know we only have a limited sample size, but looking at the way Ferry and Budenholzer handle the roster is LIGHT YEARS beyond anything we've seen in Atlanta before. This may be the first truly competent management this team has had. But let's ignore the space-time continuum for a minute and pose the question: What other Hawks would have enjoyed a better career under Ferry and/or Budenholzer? Coaches: Fratello and Wilkins. The 1985 Draft ALONE stands to show how bad these coaches had it when it came to the GM evaluating talent. Players: I think the following would have absolutely thrived under this new system. Post-ACL Nique, Doc Rivers Spud Web Laettner Kukoc Mutumbo Steve Smith Mookie Blaylock Mario West Acie Law Josh Childress Matt Freiji Hanno Mattolo Salim Stoudamire Jason Terry Anyone agree with that? That seems like the list of smarter and unselfish players that we've had.
  19. Duffman, Abattoir has a drink with a bacon swizzle stick. Let that marinate for a bit.
  20. Took my date to last night's game. We decided not to do Red but went to Abattoir after. Seemed less hokey than Red. Anyhow, we walked into the arena and she immediately says "Didn't Rudy Gay just get traded to the Kings?" I found a woman who loves the NBA y'all. The only downside was the Kings fans behind us. They kept yelling "Boooogggieeee" whenever Cousins had the ball. Damn Bill Simmons fans ruining the ambiance.
