  1. @NBASupes can you explain what you mean by fluidity? It’s such a big part of your argument and I’m not certain I understand what you’re trying to express.
  2. Trae not having full range of his pinky may seem insignificant until you realize he has more basketball ability in that pinky than nearly 99% of the rest of the world.
  3. I don’t think it will. He’ll be punished and the NBA will be like, “See, we caught it and dealt with it. The system works!” They will have no problem throwing a two-bit two way player under the bus.
  4. They don’t call them The Pickle Bros for nothing!
  5. Bob Sura: I’m the biggest killer to any Hawks tanking efforts in the history of the team! 2023-24 Hawks: Hold my beer.
  6. If Hawks get a lucky bounce of the ping pong balls and end up with a top 5 pick, who would y’all want? What are the top five of your draft board for the Hawks? Rissacher and Sarr clearly up there. IHDK who 3-5. Clingan, Buzelis, and Holland or Cody Williams?
  7. Keep: Trae and JJ Trade: DJM and Bogi. Both would bring back the most value. I’m not buying Bogi to stay healthy so I’m selling high. Rest: Ideally we would trade CC, but his only value is as an expiring deal. I doubt we would get anything back worthwhile or worse would have to give up more to get rid of his contract. We would probably just have to pay him to be a backup for a year and let him walk. If he bounces back at all next season, trade him in January for some second round picks. I don’t trust Hunter to be healthy either, but he is worth more to us than whatever we could get back in a trade. I like AJ, OO, MoG, Kobe, Bruno and would like to keep, but they could be available to trade if something good comes up or to include in a package. Maybe Vit too, I like his size. Let Bey walk. Sadly given how his season ended, but I didn’t want to keep him even before his injury. The rest can be let go.
  8. If just in the East, then I have him at about 9. Butler Tatum DeRozan Middleton Bridges Wagner Barnes Anunoby Hunter
  9. I’m furiously trying to finish my bunker so I can take cover when the Hawks don’t draft Edey and the ensuing bomb goes off.
  10. Mitchell and Reeves were their upperclassmen this year and were the only ones who showed up to play. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bradshaw, Big Z, and even Reed return for a second year. SMDH.
  11. He has the same bookie as Ohtani and just noticed the point spread.
  12. I’m not a Hawks OG. I didn’t really follow until I moved to Atlanta in 99.
  13. Damn. There goes JJ’s chance at MIP.
  14. Man starts dabbling in hockey, next thing you know he’s got a broken tooth and a cracked jaw. Get well soon Soth.
  15. I wouldn’t be upset. Cs fans probably would be though.
  16. Both guys who hustle. Both probably 2-3 year projects before reaching a top 9 rotation on the roster though.
  17. One (albeit minor) benefit of having a mid-late 1RP this year instead of next is we’d be one year ahead in the development schedule of whatever player we get. 2025 player has the potential to be better than this year, but no guarantee and we’ll have to wait even longer to find out.
  18. No, but I guess I can see Reed’s impact much more consistently when he’s on the floor than I do with Dillingham.
  19. Dilligham is good, but he doesn’t even start. I have a hard time confidently projecting him. He’s a microwave off the bench who often has pretty quiet games until the last eight minutes or less of the game. He turns it on when it counts the most. SG-wise, Antonio Reeves is a walking bucket. His age will go against him in the draft, but he will be a great SG/OG off the bench for someone. Not a starting PG, but can be a secondary ball handler. He will get you points.
  20. Oooooohhhhh…. You’re talking this is the last year for Ignite. Your first response to my post I thought you were talking about the last year for UK. I’m guessing @AHF may have thought the same, too.
  21. Oh I know. Cal has his faults, producing NBA players isn’t one. I doubt Ignite will ever have UKs success rate.
