  1. I just typed up the 2016 rankings without actually reading the two posts above. Ever have one of those days? Anyway, here are the 2015 rankings for funsies. 2015 rankings Korver - 74 Teague - 92 Milsap - 34 Horford - 25 Howard - 9 Bazemore - not on the list
  2. The 10 year old in me says that is the coolest freaking bird statue EVER! Therefore, it is the coolest freaking bird statue EVER!
  3. Not too worried just yet. The Falcons have some work to do but you can see the potential. The unnecessary penalties were the hardest to watch.
  4. I thought the Falcons defense was decent in the first quarter, despite the lack of sacks. Our offensive line still worries me a bit. Ryan was still scrambling fairly often. I hope the Falcons err on the side of caution with Neal's injury and allow him ample time to recover, even if that means he misses 2 regular season games instead of 1.
  5. I totally agree. I saw the Hawks vs Bulls in the GA dome years ago when Phillips was being built. They only had seating in half the dome and even then it looked sparse. This was with a good crowd in attendance to see Jordan. The Hawks won by the way.
  6. There were some rumors a while back about OKC possibly trading Westbrook after siging him. I hope that isnt the case.
  7. Excited for the Orlando game.

    New Picture?

I like the flexing Dwight. I think he should stay there until the season begins, then it can be replaced with a team picture or cheerleaders. Who doesn't like cheerleaders?
  9. Sounds like Humph plays the game more fore the experience than the money, which is a great outlook. Heck, making $4 mill in a year is nothing to sneeze at. Invest it wisely and you're set. Would like to see Humph at the 4 with the starters in certain situations. Dennis, Baze, Sap, Humph, Howard would be a good size lineup. Heck, even Humph at 4 with Splitter at 5 and the young guns off the bench is a pretty decent lineup.
  10. Love Paul on this team but I'd like to see him move over to SF. Yes, I know we drafted Prince but I can't see him starting for a couple seasons.
  11. Cleveland Indy Boston Minnesota: to see how they are progressing in light of the protected 2018 first round pick. Orlando: to see how their "retool" is going and I'd love Ibaka on the Hawks next year so I'd like to see how he plays in a big front court. 76ers: lots of young talent and they are still looking for a trade. Not sure if the Hawks have what they want, but you never know. Clippers: not a huge fan of Griffin on the Hawks, but still want to check out his game since he'll be a FA.
  12. Was in a meeting with a guy from Chicago yesterday. We got to talking basketball and he said, "I don't get how Horford is suddenly a superstar. It doesn't make any sense." I can totally see Indy sneaking in and taking the 2 seed. A lot will be dependent on how well Nate McMillan can coach the team. Should be an interesting season for sure.
  13. Miami is totally hitting the reset button, or "retooling." They have some good young talent to start with so they will be somewhat competitive. It won't be a 76'ers scale tank job. Also, I hope they don't stink too badly because we have their 2nd round pick next year. Protected at 31 through 40 in 2017 but unprotected in 2018.
  14. Difficult to say without seeing this team on the floor, but I think ECF next year and Finals the following year is possible. If the Hawks can pick up a solid PF and move Sap to the 3 before next season then I think the Finals next year is a real possibility. But I love the Hawks... so...
  15. My take: Prince will be a regular starter. Bembry will be 6th man of the year while earning starting minutes in that role. I guess I danced around the question a bit. I'm not really sure which one will be "better."
  16. @kg01 I'm not sure you can peg that look on a single generation. Anyway, I'll play. Bud: Don't make me go all Steve Kerr on this clipboard! For reference:
  17. Ive often wondred why Horf didnt do a 2 year deal with a year 1 player option. I guess he thought it was too risky or he just needed a change of scenery.
  18. Angie has admitted they need a Center. They want Al at PF.
  19. Going off memory, we traded Oubre for a Was pick and then traded that pick to NY for Tim H Jr. Something like that.
  20. Didn't get to watch the game but saw a few highlights and checked the box scores. Edy with zero personal fouls. Good job big fella.
  21. NBA TV, WattchESPN, and possibly ESPN3.
  22. This came up a while back and Dolf suggested logging out and back in. I see the Uruguay flag on my phone but it's fine on PC. Haven't tried the proposed fix on my phone.
  23. I almost forgot about him. Good invite.
