  1. 1) Sign Sap. Sign Tim. I don't know about Ersan yet 2) Sign a world class SF (somehow) 3) Dwight develops a Duncan-like bank shot. 4) Win it all.
  2. After the way this team has been performing recently, the next game was always going to be a must win, no matter who they were playing. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  3. I'm totally on board with a shorter season. I think you would see higher level play during the regular season if players were better rested between games. It would also allow players more time in the gym to work on their craft. Heck, just reduce the interconference games by half and you've already cut down on a ton of travel time.
  4. Damn it. Beat me to it by 1 minute! No doubt that PG or Butler would be a game changer for this team. Glad they are pursuing both.
  5. I realize Ily will more than likely come off the bench, but I'd love to see the Hawks experiment with him at 4 and Sap at 3. I'm beating the "Sap at SF" horse pretty hard. Is it dead yet? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  6. We actually coukd have 3. The Hawks pick traded to SA is top 55 protected. In the current standings, it would not transfer.
  7. I hope he realizes that at some point Boston will trade him before his contract expires.
  8. Gallinari would fit right in. He can score from anywhere. But, as you said, he's going to demand a lot of attention this summer so who knows what will happen. I like Chandler as well but he's more of a slasher and plays around the basket. Not ideal with D8 in the post.
  9. Not sure about this either. Would rather hang onto future assets than make this trade. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  10. Don't tease me like this. My heart has been fragile since The Superblown. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  11. It is. Bud will make the best use of the players he has but unselfish play (especially from the PG) seems to be an underlying theme.
  12. I think the Hawk will either stand pat or make an incremental improvement by adding someone Wilson Chandler from Denver. I would expect the Hawks to be more active during the draft. Keep in mind there's a good chance the Hawks will end up with 3 2nd round picks this year.
  13. I don't know man. I think Dennis is that guy for us. Timmy is also becoming that type of player although he isn't as efficient just yet. Thomas puts up big scores but he also takes 27%more shots than Dennis and plays 14% more minutes. Given the green light, Dennis could get pretty close to the numbers Thomas puts up, but that's not really Hawks ball.
  14. Had limited time to watch this game so I skipped to the 4th quarter and saw we were way down. Skipped ahead to 4 minutes left and was like, "Wait. Wtf just happened?" Went back and watched Timmy balling out. Totally woth it.
  15. It is working fine today. My phone rebooted yesterday so maybe that's all it needed.
  16. Back on topic. I like that the current regime realizes there is more to being "NBA ready" than shooting statistics or past performances in college. They recognized the impact Timny would have if he just put in the work to be a step quicker and just a bit more explosive. Im sure they see the same thing when it comes to our rookies, but also realize the rooks arent quite physically ready for big minutes in the NBA, which is a big step up from colllege ball.
  17. Dolf, thank you for this. Just a heads up; I'm still getting the "exclamation point" warning at the top of Chrome on Android. Tried logging out and back in, closed and reopened the site.
  18. Trust the Process. Wait. Can I use that or does Philly have exclusive rights?
  19. For my 2 cents our closer is Schröder. The kid is cold blooded.
  20. Season isn't over yet but the Hawks sure do look like a playoff team.
  21. Loved the balanced offence. Totally slayed the two headed monster of Wade and Butler. Boy do I wish Butler was a free agent this summer because the Hawks would stand a good chance of getting him after taking the Bulls lunch for 3 games this seson. That reminds me...
  22. Yea, I know... But it takes time to develop. The dude just needs to run lay-up and dribble drills constantly this offseason.
  23. Yea, mang. It let's me have faith that Baze can pull it together by next season. But I digress. This thread is about Thabo, and he is indeed awesome.
  24. He's not a troll. He's a politician pandering to his new constituents.
