McKay will still draft defensive players and they will still take o-line off the streets or in the 5-7th round. And I don't know about being more competitive in the FA market since pretty much every year Arthur Blank gave someone a hefty contract.

I think we should follow the spurs example. They have Duncan set at PF and they filled the C spot with centers that can rebound and alter or block some shots. The Hawks can be said to set at the PF spot also and just need a center that's unselfish, rebound, and block shots; someone who's not a stiff. Maybe Hoford can do that for us.

I don't buy that JJ said those negative things this week. I think it was a year old quote (maybe it was during that long 8 games losing streak they mentioned right above the quotes) that Sekou saved up for this moment.

The "on pace" prediction is ridiculous. He may have 2 or 3 good games to start a season and the prediction will go way out of proportion also. I don't think the on pace is ever accurate predicting the outcome for the season.

I'm just not sure Lue is the PG needed on this team. He held the ball longer than Joey Harrington on most plays. At the end of the day, I'm hoping AJ and Law get most mins at PG.
