I think for this team it makes sense for him to play center since Josh plays the PF position. The slots are filling up nicely. And what about Sheldon as the backup center, the guys looks very wide. Law bkkup Johnson Johnson bkkup Childress, Mario Marvin, bkkup Childress/Smith Smith bkkup Sheldon Horford bkkup Zaza/Sheldon/Jones Looking pretty solid to me, not a lot of weak spots. Might need a combo pg/sg backup improvement. But this roster looks pretty damn solid.

Back to coaching. Zaza should be fined 1,000/ per dribble and 5,000 per turnover. Everytime he puts it on the floor it is stolen. Can't a coach tell him STOP DRIBBLING. I remember in high school I had a coach who told this one kid he was not allowed to shoot, not matter what, forget about it don't shoot. He couldn't shoot. I will never forget in a game he was standing under our basket and somebody stole the ball from the opponent. The kid is standing all alone under our basket and looks back over at the coach for permission to shoot. Well, the coach yells "SHOOT IT, SHOOT IT." The guys takes the shot and missed. The coach screams back at him, I TOLD YOU NOT TO SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!! What a coach!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEWS FLASH IT IS THE COACH!!!!!!!!!!! An uproven coach like Woody is not the answer for this young team. The problem is with this screwed up Ownership it will be tough to get a good coach in to replace him.

How about joe johnson and brandon roy in the backcourt? Sure wish we had taken Roy, while not a true point guard he would be great with Joe.

Coachx, I was being an ass. You are a better man than me. I just have to much of a life than to post here 5000 times. But I read often. These folks that post so much, it bugs the hell out of me how picky they can be. Like getting onto Horfor for a couple of travels. The guys hustles his but off, is a true leader and smart basketball players. Ridiculous that they criticize him for the travels when he rebounds, passes, defends and play his ass off every second. Woody has to go. Period.

Law has only 4 assists in 4 games. What is up with that. That is a reason for concern I would think.

Isn't this the second game in a row that Law hasn't had an assist. 0 assists from the starting point guard, not good. As bad as we looked and played, we were in it much of the game. So if this is a bad night, it wasn't so bad. Positives, J Smith and J Childress and playing pretty well for early in the season, it usually takes them a while to get going. Marvin and Sheldon look improved. In 2 years I imagine you don't want to mess with Sheldon.

Yes, that is crazy, they have Phoenix ranked at No. 9, behind the Hawks? Come on............I am hoping for improvment but that is pretty crazy.

I think it may have made a difference if we had AJ for a coupple of times in the game, especially in the early 4th quarter when they put the pressue on Acie. All in all I have been very pleased with the team. So many positives including Smith making the 3 free throws, Sheldon and Marvin contributing. Acie looks good. Does Acie's game look anything like Deron Williams game to anyone but me? Deron struggled for the 1st half of his rookie season. Acie looking good except for a lapse it quarter 4. Joe Johnson is money and Josh Smith will get it going when he gets in the groove on his defense. Wow, I have been hating on Marvin for 2 years now, but he is really contributing, making shots, playing physical. I am impressed. Looking great so far. Bob

How about the Hawks send Josh Smith to the Bulls for Heinrich so that the Bulls can send J. Smith to the lakers in the trade. Heinrich runs the point for us. Then the Hawks have Heinrich Johnson Marvin Horford Pachulia

I think we need to make a coaching change and see what good coaching can get out of these guys. I hate the idea of trading any of the players with Woody as the coach. I think Woody is going to cost us a lot of games, why not make the change now?
