Diesel, I can't agree with you more. The kid has zero passion. His defense is atrocious, embaressing. The kid is so uncoordinated I don't understand how this went unnoticed earlier. He is losing it for us. Limited production on offense and the D is killing us. I don't see any heart in the kid. dolf, I guess I haven't picked up much watching the last 30+ years of basketball because I don't see Marvin playing any defense. He is not quick so he has to stay back on D, the opposing player can then take an uncontested jumpshot. If Marvin gets close they blow by him. I just don't see any D out of Marvin at all. I think I could get off a jump shot or get around him and I am 5-10 and 44 years old. Hawk88

If we come out of theese playoff losing all 4 games and Acie gains confidence then I feel it is a successful series. I didn't really expect us to compete. Heck, vegas even pulled the odds on this series since the Celtics were such a prohibitive favorite. Let's see how the Hawks play at home. Seems all the playoff teams are performing much better at home. Also I would like somebody to clean Sam Cassell's clock. I would love for the Falcons to trade down to Baltimore at 8 if possible and take best available, hopefully either Ellis or Albert. Pay a lot less money and good talent. We need to get big strong and fast. Since we need everything, taking a top QB makes no sense. Can we get another 2nd rounder with Baltimore for a swap? 4 second rounders would be sweet. I am wondering if the current Hawks are as good as the ASG want them to get. The sweet spot where you don't overpay for players but you make the playoffs for the extra money. Let the team waller around for a while disinteresting the fans and them move the team to a new City for a payday. IE Seatle. Think about it. Everything is run to make a buck. Woody and BK have to be the cheapest coaches and GM's in the industry. Where else would they get jobs. No more long term deals. Besides Al and Joe there isn't a lot to feel good about. Young players who aren't paid highly. Sucky draft pics so you don't have to pay them when it is time to resign. Childress shouldn't be highly paid. JSmith, had a really weak second half. JSmith is likely a coach killer because he is so inconsistent. I just question whether the Ownership cares at all about getting better. It's a shame. I kindof agree with you about the Falcons needing to hijack this draft. If there is anything they could do at 3 to shake things up it will likely work to their advantage in the 2 and 3rd rounds with so many picks. Many trading down to 8. I really like the OG/OT with Virginia, Albert. Guys looks like a stud. I loved Dorsey but I do think there are injury concerns. The Falcons board should be best available with so many needs. Jake Long 1 and Chris Long 2. Above all else the Falcons need a leader and I think Chris Long is a HOFer and leader and I don't think you pass on him because you drafted an end last year. You have to build strengths and I think Chris Long would be a great player to have. Take the Hall of Famer with no current injury history, please. Hawk88

Anyone else totally disapointed with Marvin's season. The kid is so uncoordinated I can't believe it. All this talk about how talented this team is, is Marvin still considered a top talent? I have to say watching the guys clumsiness I don't think he will ever be better than average. And with all the hype about him at #2, I think that would be a bust.

This team just isn't that talented. The talent with these guys died after the draft under Woodys coaching. Think about Marvin. Is he still a great talent. Looks more like an uncoordinated clod to me. I agree with the Woodson substitution issues. Why the heck he doesn't ever yank Marvin for being a spaz and doing something stupid and lazy is beyond me. I hope he hasn't pegged Acie as a but like Sheldon. They were so GAGA over Acie last year. I know there is a steep learning curve for PG's in the NBA but what the heck happened? Hawk88

I think Woodson is as close to an idiot as there is in the NBA that is a head coach. I am a little worried about Acie Law though. Woodson didn't play Sheldon much last year and it looks like Sheldon is a bust. I am hoping Acie isn't headed down the same road. Would love somebody to reassure me that Acie is going to be a player. What a great game. Wasn't the play already reviewed by the officials? It would be a travesty to take away this win. Sometimes I think the NBA is like the WWF. Rookies get no calls unless they are well known and the stars get all the calls. The NBA likes to orchestrate and enhance the superstars. And then here come the Hawks trying to build with young players not getting the calls. Poos Solomon Jones has not chance unless he lands with a top team that can provide him some respect. NO, no, no. Josh Smith is open to shoot 3's for a reason. He misses. Just because you are open is not a good reason to shoot. I think Josh needs to be moved in the lower post so he can use his quickness and he won't be tempted to chunk it up.
