I'm very impressed with Jeff Teague. And I'm also impressed with Woodson's minutes distribution between Teague and Bibby. I think Teague has all the tools to be a great PG in this league. Next year, I would be disappointed if we did not see a noticeable increase of minutes and a slightly higher role. I think mid-season next year, he will be ready to start... what do you guys think?

I wish we could get Marc Gasol but he's part of their future as much as Gay, Mayo, and/or Thabeet is. And it's not like they need another 2/3 combo in JJ or Marvin. If the Grizzlies get a true PF, that team can be nasty.... Or if they get John Wall.

When J-Smoov sucks, this team sucks. If JJ sucks, Crawf can pick him up. Smoov is needed down low to make a difference on D, to be that mismatch on offense, and to grab rebounds. If he sucks, this team sucks. Most valuable player - Smith

Wasn't that why we brought him in Atlanta in the first place? To deal with the sudden influx of bigs in the East? I heard so much about him being needed when we'd face the likes of Howard, Shaq, Perkins, etc. I did not see him once tonight. Are we really paying someone over $1 million for no reason? I like your other moves, Sund, but this one just sucked. I'd rather have kept Mario West than to sign some bench fodder like Collins. At least West could play D.

It's the same old Hawks!!! Oh but that was our only loss at home this year! I thought the home crowd is supposed to give players energy? I see NO ONE playing with energy on this team. After the second half, Woodson must have fed the team some turkey because this is definitely not a playoff contending team. We are NOT perimeter shooters. There's a reason why we are league leaders in points scored in the paint. When we just toss that away we are just a mediocre team. Sure Dwight Howard is a game changer, but is that what this team really boilds down to? A bunch of players who will just keep clearing every one out and playing one vs. one basketball? Pathetic. Woodson sucks as a coach. He is a fluke. This kind of performance is inexcusable. happy thanksgiving, hawks fans. i like how we're getting owned by no bodies... jj redick, anthony johnson, LMAO

i'm so mad we are playing terribly tonight... teague looks like a rookie on defense and i don't get how anyone could say that he is our best one-on-one defender... he still makes too many mistakes and does not impress me with his "pass the rock to someone else to hold" offense... i wonder if woodson tells him to do this but still... jamal crawford, when he's off, is terrible... he needs to learn how to pass up on his own shot when he's cold... marvin williams was great last night but missed a few WIDE open shots... this team plays with no fire on the road unless it's against a major opponent which is a weak signifier... bibby got injured, so what? this team had a bad game i hope it's just that... i'm glad this team got smacked in the mouth at least we'll have some fire in our hearts going into the orlando game... oh and the sky is falling

i thought of this trade a while back ... not saying any of our players are playing terrible so far but I'm just saying what you guys would think of this trade. We just beat the Celts so many of you guys shouldn't answer this until a couple weeks later when we get a better look at our team. I know some of you guys will take this the wrong way so let me just tell you that I love how our team is playing but like many other threads in this forum, this is just a "WHAT IF" trade and pure speculation... Anyways... MEMPHIS RECEIVES: PF Josh Smith SF Marvin Williams ATLANTA RECEIVES: SF Rudy Gay (SNT) C Hasheem Thabeet 2010 1st Round Draft Pick Would you do it? I don't think I would anymore. When I thought of this trade, it was when I was still quesitoning Smith. Now I know he is definitely maturing and is only going to get better. Marvin is signed to a decent contract although he hasn't impressed me at all this year. Rudy is also on the way up though so if I could do a Marvin for Rudy trade I'd do it. Hasheem looks very raw in the NBA looks like he should have stayed at UCONN for one more year to work on his post game.

That was a down side to tonight's game... I wanted to see Teague play more. Good thing Rondo didn't go balistic on Bibby or else I think we would have seen Teague out there more.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. The refs were consistent with their calls for each team. Hawks got away with a lot of calls while the Celts got away with some too.

Shelden sucked. Acie sucked. Speedy sucked. Billy Knight sucked. BTW, I went to the MSG two years ago when the Hawks played the Knicks. Billy Knight was one shady looking dude... always looking over his shoulders and stuff.
