I feel Ferry doesn't care in the slightest about where the Nets finish in the standings. We are attempting to sell the system and team to potential FAs while having cap room to sign them. It's not lost on potential players we can go after that we are starting to gain more respect for our style. What FA would want to come here to watch JJ dribble the air out of the basketball before? I concur that this thread should be locked though. We shouldn't have our eggs in the draft basket. With JJ contract there was no way in hell we could even entertain the thought of signing Dwight and/or Chris. I disagree with the ASG being cheap strategy and I feel that if a max worthy player were to knock on our door ASG would sign that player. Dwight didn't wan to come to ATL why must we keep repeating that? And I still think Paul would have signed in ATL were it not for the BS move by the celts allowing rivers to go there and coach .. I also don't think JJ was worth his contract at all. We are paying less to Horford and sap this year than we would have had to pay joe alone not good value unless JJ can play like a superstar an entire season which he has never done.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also since when is 35 percent so bad shooting from 3 that's like 50 per from 2 last I checked I will certainly take that for a slump and the team not getting him the ball on the times he is open of course less these days due to all the attention. He has stepped up his game in other areas due to his lack of open looks as your own stats pointe out Cyde. His assists and rebounding are up as his shot attempts and percentage are down I believe he also has stepped up defensively in team concept. We don't know what's going on in practices. Dennis is going to get his opportunity now due to the injury situation of Jeff. I agree that this team needs an upgrade at PG but let's see what Bud can do with Teague. He is thinking too much out there too indecisive and it's effecting his rhythm offensively. If he can get comfortable he will perform better. Jmho as for draft pick let chips fall where they fall. I believe in Ferry and staff evaluating talent. Jenkins has the back issue but Scott is a steal! I feel Scott and Mack could be role players on a contender as well if this team found true number one option. This was a game where I wished both teams could lose as well. It sure does seem like the Nets are getting more help lately with the officiating of these games. I have always said if the games were called fair Lebron would be in foul trouble or fouled out of a lot of games, it appears the refs helped the Nets by not helping Lebron in this case...Stern wants to see the big market teams in the East rise up the ranks of the standings.

Yep Garcia there is no way Houston is going to put Harden on Korver he would light them up because the guy doesn't guard anybody he just watches the ball and waits to play offense on every defensive possession.

^This. Think DMC will be on Harden? I think DMC has the tools to really make him frustrated if the refs call it somewhat fairer (since we are in Atlanta maybe they will be). Interesting stat - if we can make 10 3s - (we are certainly capable) the Rockets have a very poor record something like 2-9. I think Bench especially Mike, Mack and Lou need to step up and knock down some 3s.
