Just saying there are times he should definitely zip the ball in instead of loop it in. That could be arm strength, but possibly footwork and mechanics breaking down as well. I said it, BURN the WITCH! BURN! haha Im just saying, hes not zipping passes around (i guess hes got the touch Vick never had?) that i would describe as having a strong arm. I think the key will be our linebacker play stopping the run game of alabama. Their line might be better on both sides of the ball, but we have enough playmakers on offense to overcome this. I expect it to be like 35-27 or so, due to both coaches opening up the offense and trick plays etc...

While im a UGA alum, im still interested in Paul Johnson offense at Tech...watched alot of GSouthern football under Johnson. You can expect alot of turnovers from the offense as they adapt to realtime speed. Something like 35-24? Tech. J ST should get alot of possessions, i just see the tech DLine being a major factor against lesser division school. It might be little frustrating for tech fans though, because there will probably be alot of procedure penalties and turnovers in the redzone.

I would make this trade without hesitation. Ideally you can draft rebuild to a point..we have surpassed that stage and will no longer be able to re-sign our players without making room elsewhere on the roster. On top of this we have underachieved imo...but we still have many young assets. Duncan would be a revelation for the team...

Georgia is powerful (enough to be independent) and has the resources and water access to black sea. I dont know what South Ossetia has for resources to maintain economic security if it does secede, but there must be an energy play within. Its hard to believe russia and how it likes to spin events..while im sure there have been faults for each side...the greater blame must be placed on Russia since it accepted the independence of Georgia years ago...

I would say Prince...you noticed last year without JJ our offense would fall apart alot of times on court. Prince brings that calm aspect to the game, he can handle from the perimeter and set guys up...and has everything you could want from a veteran. I havent watched a ton of Howard however, i know hes really athletic, which makes him seem bigger than he really is. Hes a tough guy to project, i dont know how motivated he would be outside of Dallas...He makes me think of Maggette geared a little more to defense than to offense. Either complimented with a true PF like Amir/Maxiell or Bass would give us some depth to recoup the loss of smoove.

Barbosa tends to do his own thing on the court...tough to reign him in ... and with the language barrier...with D'antoni gone, even phoenix cant fit him in...imagine woodys attempt to have him slow down, would have made for some funny a** expressions and antics by him trying to punch through the language barrier and Woody offense mental block :P

Between Greene and Martin, its gonna be a free throw parade for the kings... Then again....theres gonna be a ton of chucking going on too :P

Talk is talk, putting pen to paper is what counts...i cant believe being sweet talked by philly and then just left out to dry by them could be the basis of his negotiatons.. if so, dude is walking on clouds... Im thinking his footing was on 13+ per, but now reality is sinking in with all the other signings..i expect him to get the 11.5-12 plus the incentives package being thrown around. His side hasnt said too much publicly, but they definately gave out SnT feelers to teams...so i think there is good will to return to ATL when the price is right.

The whole price/value thing is like you stated insignificant. The cap/luxury limit goes up every year by like 1.5m so give or take a mil per year for someone like josh isnt a big deal. Its alot more important for players in the Childress category, 4-8m per price range. But then again, scottie pippen shot 52% from the field...

I'd sign hunter and jackson...and hold bibby until the trade deadline to see who's available.

I think we just have to offer him the QO this year....next year if we can get him to the negotiating table (or the year after)...find a suitable SNT for him that he will sign, we can do it. Either way, he will have to come back to the org for negotiation unless we renounce him.. Thats what i gather from what i read...not sure if its right.

I thought the point of getting bibby was using our expirings as an asset and unloading shelden...now bibby is an expiring asset. Law taking over the show in 2009? Theres still a long road ahead before that.

I think until we renounce chillz, he will still have an 11m caphold next year...getting under the cap to sign a big time FA is a longshot until 2010, not to mention marvins caphold.

Yah i dont feel good about any trades involving players about to expire, i.e. Odom/Marion...we already have no confidence in ASG in negotiating big contracts..so why would we want to fall into this situation again...another reason why i wouldnt mind moving bibby either.
