  1. Well, In my opinion you can't answer that until the last game. Say this borderline team wins a first round matchup and takes the Heat/Pacers to 7 games. Impossible you say? I say Hawks/Celtics 2009. Or if they don't make the playoffs that requires a whole different response. So ask again in after the last game.
  2. Not me. Ferry's direction is not paramount for me to worry about. His direction is tied to the performance of the talent on this team. So, if you want to worry, worry about the progress of the players and Bud's coaching. They will determine far more about what Ferry does than you worrying about what he will do.
  3. Great, it wasn't clear from the P'Hoops article. Good to see another of the draft picks over this year. Should have kept him over Goose. If we bring over Lucas, re-up Pero and Muscala, do you all still think we are under sized as a team? I think in that scenario Horf plays only token minutes at center next year.
  4. So quick question: Another team could have bought him out and brought him over? We didn't retain his rights?
  5. Been enjoying it. I don't have high hopes for a ending in the since of closure. I think the original creator of the story was trying to make a point. The zombies etc. are just background noise. The problem is and has always been human nature. Instead of working together to fight the zombies and establish a sanctuary for survivors, they are facing the worst threats from each other.
  6. Damn good post and the point I have championed through all these exercises. But, guess what they will only skim over what you are saying and continue to chase the pipe of this supposed "Superstar" in the draft that will magically win titles. Or the trade that we can't seem to make that nets us Lebron for expiring contracts. Meanwhile others are insane for thinking maybe if the team is culturally enticing that maybe we get a JJ 2.0 that will actually recruit other guys to come.
  7. You know he got shot at the end? Horrible chess player lol Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
  8. Play the games and let the chips(ping pong balls) fall where they may.Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk

  10. Is this team tough or what?!Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
  11. Hawks fans should boycott the AJC until they do better. No posting, unfollow on twitter, and refuse to site any of their stories.
  12. We have two all-stars currently. With the right culture I think a star would definitely come play with Sap and Horford. Especially, after seeing what this system has been capable of.
  13. Yeah, but Shaq doesn't agree to go their without Riley. Wade and Butler wouldn't have won a championship.
  14. Congrats to your husband for keeping the little lady in check lol
  15. How much is because of the ineptitude we have operated with? If we build a culture that is attractive we can do it. Miami didn't do it until Pat Riley got there. Maybe Danny isn't the guy, but I've seen us get more respect since he and Bud got here than we ever had. Even with Nique.
  16. Lebron Miami Lebron Miami Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Paul Pierce, Boston Tony Parker, San Antonio Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat Tim Duncan, San Antonio Chauncey Billups, Detroit Pistons Tim Duncan, San Antonio Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Tim Duncan, San Antonio Michael Jordan, Chicago Michael Jordan, Chicago Michael Jordan, Chicago Hakeem Olajuwon, Houston Hakeem Olajuwon, Houston Michael Jordan, Chicago Michael Jordan, Chicago Michael Jordan, Chicago Looking at this chart of the past Finals MVP's it is a huge crap shoot to tank for that "Super Star" If you are lucky there are 2 guys in every decade of talent that would be that Championship player. Boston and Dallas chased teams that were capable instead of guys and broke the royal heritage. Yes, tanking gets you good players, but getting "that guy" is a crap shoot unless you get the number one pick when he becomes available. It is much more efficient to let some one else draft that guy and go get him. Let him learn on someone else's dime.
  17. Chris Vivlamore @ajchawks wait I should be getting paid for this? Mother@^@#&^#&#&!Follow
  18. His point is that this is lazy GM'ing to just blow it up. In pretty much every other sport or profession the tanking strategy is not an acceptable answer. Just look at the landscape and see the how these "tanking" teams sale to their fans.
  19. After yesterdays Antawn/Antwayn/Antanw/Anitc debacle C-Viv is dead to me. If I wanted to watch a monkey typing about the Hawks I would just bookmark this site( I kid I kid )
  20. Clippers dump Jamison Hawks get: Antawn Jamison Clippers get: Rights to Cenk Akyol (2005 second-round pick) Atlanta Hawks: B For the second consecutive deadline, the Hawks used an open roster spot --- they'll first have to either waive Cartier Martin a day before his 10-day contract ends or another player -- to make some quick cash. Technically, they send the Clippers the rights to 2005 second-round pick Cenk Akyol, who is an extreme long shot to ever play in the NBA. Los Angeles Clippers: B It took a 45-point win over the Philadelphia 76ers for Jamison to get on the floor in the last month. At this point, his defensive limitations are too great for him to be part of an NBA rotation, so the Clippers save the luxury-tax bill they were due to pay on Jamison's salary and open up a second spot on the roster. Consider them first in line for any big men that get bought out after the deadline.
  21. I hear the Hawks just got closed on a new AARP sponsorship.
