  1. Exactly, but also who is this transcendent Superstar? It is not Kevin Love. Kevin Love is a 1B type guy. Nobody is taking less money etc. to play with Love.
  2. That was the Black Mamba lol. Kobe and the Black Mamba do not exist together lol. But, as to your point Mamba did have Gasol.
  3. One guy doesn't get it. You need 2 and 1 All-Star. That is just the way it is. Look at these so called Superstars that have never been to the finals. It takes a team to get there. It's no surprise KD has not been back without Westbrook and Harden. Or Kobe without Shaq.
  4. I agree with both of you. But, I will add this team was built to be a smart/energetic basketball team. How many of those previous teams had "me" guys and dumb offensive players? I'm a Bud fan, but could he have coached this way with JJ and Smoove as the emotional and stylistic leaders? I think he probably passes on the job lol.
  5. I think it is just as simple as the current scheme/style is more appeasing to the eye. We got results with Woody/Drew ball, but scouts and b-ball purest hated that style. Look at what they say about the Knicks style of play now that Woody is there. I think there we just look more competent. To a degree we are more competent and organized on the court, but I don't know how much of that is the subtraction of Josh and how much is just plain old good coaching.
  6. Why not baseball does it. I even think the current rosters should be increased to allow up to 5 guys in the D-league from the active roster. Imagine if we had an expanded roster and could have had Dennis, Cunningham, Jenkins, Mussala(sp?), and Lucas down there running a five and being called up from time to time when needed.

  8. The books are much better than the TV show.
  9. Did you not see Dolf's post? There are no guarantees with a rookie. A good band aid is fine if you stop the bleeding. The band aid line was fine to get us to NFC Championship game and multiple playoff births. One guy is not going to get your line stabilized. So yes I think we need vets to come in for OL. I did not say use our top pick on LB, but Clowney may play some LB if we go 3-4. Those vet LB cost more than 2nd or 3rd round guys.
  10. Oh so you don't want to know about the Centaurs?

There is a grass roots movement fan page to get Pero in on Facebook. Go like it. :0
  12. What are Mack's numbers compared to Teague? Also, something has to be said for Coaches. I've heard a lot coaches playing up Teague. So maybe stats aren't catching everything.
  13. I'd rather to Vets with the O-line and get some more help on D. We might need to replace Weatherspoon and we need more meet on the DL. Put the young OL through a tough strength and conditioning program and hire some tuff SOBs to cover Matt's @ss until they grow up.
  14. Well, see now I feel left out. I actually ate crow about Teague earlier after being President of the get this clown out of here club. He started out so well. Again, I wonder if it is DNA or was raised wrong under Woody, Joe, Smith, Bibby, and Drew?
  15. I like the move. Just keep him away from the HC office.
  16. Fred Kerber @FredKerber #BrooklynNets Kevin Garnett on JJohnson: "We call him Joe Jesus...he might not be there when you call him but he's there when you need him."about 12 hours ago
  17. Do you guys realize how hard it is to tank this year? You would have to gut this team and get rid of great contracts. Even then you may not be bad enough to effectively get a top 5 pick.

  19. Well, he is better than what we are getting from Jenkins and Cunningham. Gives us a good sized ball handler off the bench. Does Martin even play anymore? lol
  20. I think BB should have to rock a Joe Johnson avi for this one lol
  21. Mutombo ,Webber, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Steve Nash
  22. close win.........caught the last few minutes in the break room. Shouldn't have come down to that......Teague needs to have better composure.....I see the smoove influence is strong with this one.
  23. So apparently Bynum was is pretty good at rebouding. Rumor is he was suspended for going hard in the paint with Jamahl Mosley’s wife
