  1. I think it shows that we have some true basketball fans with a lot of knowledge on the board whether it’s considered opinionated or not. Not saying supes or any other poster is right about their every post or idea but naming a prospect who you feel is great fit but not high on the draft boards and making good valid reasons why is why the Squawk is special.
  2. I hope they love Edey! I’d love for the team to get him next to Trae.
  3. Easily forgotten when we are looking at professional athletes but good point
  4. Trae did so good tonight ! I love that he just went out there and competed. he was so close to winning the 3pt contest! …I know he’s done it twice now but I think he should enter again. I can really see him winning it one of these years. something about Trae is very different personality wise and I mean it in a positive great way. Like dude just seem ultra mature compared to when he first came league
  5. I missed this public announcement….is there a link or was this a radio interview or something???
  6. Has OO figured out his placement in Synders scheme now ? he’s been very well lately.
  7. Damn man Philly gettin punked in the paint! feels nice to be on the other side. Bey has been extremely physical vs Tobias. Tobias look like a straight scrub man. i know bey got some issues but i like that he not afraid to be aggressive. You can’t teach aggression no matter how skilled a player can get.
  8. I know we are not good but a few good moves would probably put this team as a sure 4-6 seed. not saying 4-6 seed is the goal just saying it’s not a hard accomplishment if you get the right fitting players
  9. It will get overlooked but yes was wondering if anyone else noticed that! trae was on his way to a very efficient game to continue his streak
  10. Good fight ! Especially without DJ & Capela
  11. Sure but there’s a lot of no calls. typically the way things go in the garden It’s the refs. I’m actually surprised he didn’t complain more at them.
  12. He has matured that’s for sure and I think it’s a testament to not only Trae but the coaching he’s receiving from Snyder.
  13. This damn hawks team is extremely good offensively. They make the contending teams respect their offensive game. not really news here but it’s one nice thing we have going this season. We can stay in the games with this teams elite offense no matter if the opponents star player has 70, 60, or an unfair amount of all star players on their roster.
  14. Oh you saw that stare down to Bogi too lmao
  15. lol they going to drag this one out huh?! love the fight Quinn!
  16. I know it’s a loss but I’m not really frustrated about this loss. Actually I’m impressed that we kept it close.
  17. Good try by the hawks tonight. There was effort on both ends to say the least. Clips are too talented for us …we aren’t the only team with this problem vs them.
  18. Yup I get it but he played so well tonight would be great if he could finish the game. but yeah not that important
  19. JJ will learn …all we can do is ask for effort and he’s at least trying . 4 all star or former all star talents …yeah that’s tough for a young kid
  20. Hunters having a great game but I guess due to minute restriction he’s done for the night
  21. Geeezzzzz ain’t that some shit! I was looking forward to the BIG lineup with OO & Capela sharing the floor more.
  22. As many have already pointed out……The BIG lineup may resolve some of our obvious shortcomings/issues/flaws.
  23. The Hawks are the only Top 10 offensive team in points per game and offensive efficiency that are not AT LEAST a 6th seed. The other 9 out of the top 10 offensive teams in each category of ppg and efficiency are a 6th seed or better. The Warriors are in the same boat as the hawks slightly but being out of the top 10 in one of the above offensive categories. just some additional info that points to what the true problem is this season which is obviously defense but also front court issues. Hawks need to take a page out of the Knicks and Cavs roster building techniques and really focus on acquiring physical and lengthy players in the front court around Trae & Murray. We don’t need star names in the front court…we just need some dawgs!
  24. I don’t know what it is but Synder has found something that works for Trae & DJ and I’m loving it. Trae seems to be dominating throughout the game and then DJ has been the go to clutch guy down the stretch in the 2nd half of the season. I’m not sure if DJ likes what’s working but it is working. i do believe if DJ has things going running point where we are gaining a lead then Quinn need to leave DJ in the game longer and let that fire run out. You put Trae back in with a lead I believe he will keep things going especially as of late! Trae has been on absolute fire .
  25. Yup! …I think an aggressive lengthy front court fixes a lot of issues. easier said then done but put some aggressive bodies around these two and I would bet anyone shit changes. tonight we got some good aggression out of the front court but it need to be consistent.
