  1. So in other words, Josh Smith hopefully get trade at the NBA Draft for Lottery Pick and more for him. But we are dealing with the ASG and they are not going to be using "Common Sense"
  2. I dont think a wrecking ball isnt good word for the Hawks situation, but I think a jack-hammer is much better in this situation. Think about this, we all know that Josh contact is up next year and there is a high possiblity that he isnt coming back to Atlanta (plus we dont want a circus around here, like Dwight was in Orlando), you can include Zaza as well (alot of teams will be looking at him at a quality back-up or even starter in some places). Plus J.J needs to be remind that the reason why he is getting pay so much to be the type of player, that doesnt disappear against good team but burn up bad teams.I think what the Hawks really need is two things1) Outside voice (The Falcons did that) - I think this team needs an outside voice, somebody from a different club (like Spurs, Thunder and others) that can put a new fresh insight to this team and let it grow and that including all the coaching staff. Leftovers isnt going to full up anybody and this team is going to suffer for it. Plus if they do bring somebody new, ASG needs to back away from it and let them do their job.2) Real Big Man - I think this is a fan battle-cry for years (with for new PG, that I am still on the fence on that), This team can get to ECF if they can get a true big that can be like Gasol in Memphis, Byunm in LA and others. I know that you will have to give up Josh for that, but a true center/Horford/Johnson/Teague/one other can be a more dangerous combo in the league. At the end, Hawks needs to use the "Jacking Hammer" because if they dont, then next year the "Wrecking Ball" is going to come no matter what they do.
  3. But I still hate Clayton Bennett's group for moving this team to OKC (even know that the City of Seattle is paying for that mistake) but they are doing this without an 7'0 footer and if they ever get one, look out they will be contend for years to come.
  4. But this does bring up a very good question, what happens when Al comes back from injury, I know that the reason that Josh is getting more touches because Al isnt there and Joe has been hurt as well. I think that ASG needs to address this issue during the offseason. But Josh does deserve some mention besides he is going to be a hot topic during the Draft.
  5. HawksFan87, I never see any thing positive from him at all but seriously D. Rose was the youngest MVP in history for a reason and there has been alot of better guards that didnt stop Rose at all either. Atleast Teague is trying and with Kirk back, he can learn from the defense side and he can have fresh legs when Kirk subs for him. I think when Kirk comes back, I think that Hawks will try to get a True Center here if that means trading Al, then so by it
  6. I dont know but somebody needs to tweet him everyday about this. For the Hawks, if this will might be the last year that core might stick together, i think they should pull out all the stops. Right now, the Hawks is playing a high level right now and adding one more person will push them over the ECSF hump, if that person is D-12, then go for it, besides Hawks might have a chance to be king in Atlanta (even know that CFB will always be king) and this is a perfect opportunity for Ownership to capitize on this chance. But he was very funny and very truthful, that is how we fans feel right now about Atlanta teams.
  7. Yes, he is a real deal and now if we get a true _______ then we will be good, I think.
  8. If he resigned with us, then I would give up two of the three or just get creative with one of them. Diesel, btw. Nets is probably have the worst deal for him right now. Besides, Magic has dealt with a foot injury before (Grant Hill) and it was bad, very bad for them. So Brook Lopez isnt going to make the brass of the Magic happy if he doesnt recover. NJN might have to wait until off-season to get him, OKC might have a chance but Perkins fits them better there. At the end, if he is wiling to sit down and willing to negoiate or re-sign with us, then pull the tigger on this trade. No more "Manning Trade".
  9. guripilo, Good points but we need to make sure that he is willing to re-signed with us, and we cant let go Smith unless is D12 will leave regards, this sound like more and more of that Nique trade that all of the Hawks can remember and believe me, Hawks would look like fools if they dont re-signed Dwight but give up everything for him.
  10. Buzzard, There is no way we will give up both Horford and Smith for this deal. It is one or the other. No if, and, or buts with this. Besides who can replace if we send both of them to Orlando? With Al gone, Smith and Marvin is other fowards. Plus it is too risky for that, I think that Al should be the centerpiece and work from there, only Teague and Smith is only ones that wont be touch in this trade.
  11. Yea, i would keep Hinrich so he can teach Teague alittle bit more. I am just guessing. Also we can do the three way trade as well. But we are only give up one, Al or Smooth (Al, if he resigns or Smooth if he doesnt) but here is the difference between Arenas and Johnson. Johnson is still young and got couple of good years left plus Arenas did had a couple of bad injuries and didnt play for while for legal reason. JJ doesnt have to be in the deal but Otis Smith did sign Lewis to that big contact and then trade for another one. I wont put it pass him
  12. But Hinrich will be pat of that deal, maybe and Green, I dont know. I got three packages to throw out #1 Al JJ KH contract 1st pick (2012/2014) - I know that we traded away the first round pick last year, so do we have to worry about the Danny Manning rule? #2 AL Marvin Zaza KH Picks #3 JS KH ZaZa Pargo Picks
  13. Then again, you have to think, you will actually get lower value just because you are trading to out of conference foe, then the fans might want your head. If I was Orlando, I will traded D12 to a team that will give me the best value regrads if they are in the same division or not, besides its a high possibity that D12 wont resigned, so they only have to face them only one season, so they will be fine.
  14. I agreed with Diesel here, So the basic question is: Are you going to trade to a team that value is much lower but not in your division/conference or trade to a division rival that has the best value for a trade. Magic Leadership needs just to trade him and get it over with because it will hang over their heads the entire season and you can started the rebuilding process or contented for a playoff spot.
  15. Actually Shaq never was trade from Magic, he signed with the Lakers but he was traded to Heat. But sometimes, if you cant find value in any other deals, then you have to go to the best thing. Besides, the Lakers already have a thin frontline and give up Gasol and Bynum right now. God forbids what happens if D12 got into foul trouble. With those two If Bynum gets into foul trouble then Gasol takes over but with D12 you wont get that. With Al and JJ, you get a very good value with a very young Center/PF that is from the area and can be a vocal point for the young Latinos that lives there and a vet SG that is in the Top 5 and All-Star every year.
  16. But LA has already say that they WILL NOT trade Gasol and Bynum for D12. But here is what I see, each day that that trade doesnt happen, they are going to be losing more value, period. Besides, Hawks deal is almost better than Lakers because Gasol is much older and Bynum is always injured and Orlando needs more than. Actually trades does happen with Division rival (think Orland and Washington last year). Right now, the best value is Atlanta, Chicago and LA. For us, if he signed the ext, then we can send them Horford (Actually fits better in Orlando offense) and others.
  17. That is true but if JJ was traded, they will probably have the cap room to resigned Josh plus we got the anmesty card as well for instant cap room if need. My feeling about this, if D12 is willing to sign a ext to play here, then do the trade but we cant be like that other trade that i wont even speak of(it still hurts my heart after so many years). I know that Sund want to pull an blockbuster before he ride off into the sun. I know its risky but the rewards is greater and our goal is getting to ECF and beyond.
  18. But it is going to be alot harder to make that happen unless, we are going to give them, young assets, picks and salary relief. Do you think that the ASG is going to allow that to happen.
  19. Also you have to remember 76ers is a very dangerous young team even the Bucks with Captain Jack, will be better, PG or not, we just cant defeat those teams at the top.
  20. A good team that been stuck on second round in the last three years. Unless you like stuff like that(I hope you dont), We need to get to the ECF, and be honest with yourself. Can you see this team beating Chicago, Miami, Boston or even Knicks.
  21. But that was the main focus of this trade, we could put more there but was the major pieces.
  22. And what is this reward? Believe me, they would probably go over for DH but who else?
  23. I am thinking that Rick Sund and ASG thinks we are idiots and willing to hear that this crap. I think they are just want to go to the playoff and that is it. We will never get to the ECF ever.
  24. Do you think that we might have a chance to sneak in and get Paul?(Even know that he will leave for FA next year)
  25. Well, now that is the 60 million dollar question Besides, we got some very good assets, it just that ASG is scared of that LT plus I believe that they didnt want to go through the same problems that happened a long time ago, when the last Hawks team core was traded away (Smith, Mookie and other)
