  1. Bembry with the 2002 posterizer!!! Sheesh!!
  2. Not a bad offer in this current NBA climate for a 25 year old player that's actually developing. This is what happens when you play the waiting game. You get desperate teams making sizeable offers because they missed out on the tier 1 players. Meanwhile, Schlenk has taken on almost $30m in salary for a 1st round pick and a prospect. Prepare for the bs show ladies and gentlemen.
  3. Four 1st round picks for Gobert? Nah, bro.
  4. Diamond's garbage. The kid plays with a nonchalant attitude. Check his 1 on 1 practice with Chris Paul.
  5. Actually, I disagree. If management wasn't interested in resigning Sap, they should've been straight up during the meetings. At least send an offer that you know he will reject. Its all about treating your employees with dignity and respect. Handling your hardworking players like this will definitely ruin your chances of signing future players. Especially, if they run in the same circles socially. Overall bad business and PR during a rebuild.
  6. Fox can't shoot so why in the heck would we trade the better point guard and a 1st round pick for him?
  7. Tim Hardaway Jr will sign for a bargain. I'm pretty sure money isn't his major focus as his dad was a star in this league. I'm guessing a 4 year $42M deal.
  8. I guess I will have to walk you through this using a quote from the Peachtree Hoops article a couple of posts above. Let's go @Dolfan LOL!! "Plumlee has three years and $37.5 million left on the contract he originally signed with Milwaukee and every dollar of that contract is a bad one. Had he been on the Hawks last season, there’s a significant chance he wouldn’t have cracked the rotation, and yet he’ll pull down $12.5 million per year until 2020. He’ll see the floor this coming year for Atlanta out of necessity, but at no point will anybody feel confident that his play will be able to live up to his salary. For all of Howard’s flaws, and there were a few significant ones, Plumlee comes with the same flaws and more—he doesn’t match up to Howard offensively nor on the glass and is just as immobile defensively, but doesn’t come with the shot-blocking upside that Howard always had when he hung back in the paint over and over on pick-and-rolls. "
  9. "A lot of people will look at the trade as a big loss for the Hawks. And they did give up a lot. They brought back a bad contract in Miles Plumlee, who will make $12.4 million for the next three seasons despite averaging less than three points and three rebounds per game as a backup center. The Hawks slid back 10 spots in the second round of Thursday’s NBA Draft. They could have gotten a decent player at No. 31. Will they now at 41?" - Chris V.
  10. Trading the 31st pick was piss-poor negotiating by our new general manager. There's absolutely no excuse for Schlenk trading away a pick that would make us better in the "long-term" for a bum that hinders our flexibility in the "long-term." We're literally stuck with one of the NBA's worst contracts while helping an in-division team get better in the short-term and long-term. My sales experience won't allow me to excuse our management for this flub. I hope someone asks Chauncey Billups for his take on this debacle.
  11. Bro, you have to look deeper. He's taking contested shots while leading a young Iowa team. 38% off of mainly contested 3 point shots is pretty ridiculous. Look at his workout below. The handles look mighty good to me.
  12. I see your point but what can you actually find out about a player during an NBA combine scrimmage? Not much. Trey Lyles led the Las Vegas Summer League in scoring in 2016, but how did that translate into his first NBA season? He played like hot garbage. Getting to your spots, playing smart basketball, and knocking down your opportunities is more important than athleticism. Just look at the Andre Millers, Aaron Affalo's, Chris Paul's, and Joe Johnson's of the game. Peter Jok would be an absolute stud in our system. 13. I'm not sure why this kid isn't shooting up draft boards. He literally ready to play within our system. He's smart with length and a high motor. He could be the space creator we need to fill the void left by Kyle's departure. Take a look at the video's below and take a look at how he moves without the ball. Looks like a very intelligent player. Bring him home Schlenk!!
  14. Give me Frank Jackson ret now! That kid will be better than Devin Booker.
  15. People, people, people. There's no need to get all uneasy because the owner's getting more hands-on with his team. This is basic business. You have to get your hands dirty to right the wrong. The issues he presented are all palatable because we saw it from our couches. Wes was way over his head and Bud's showing everyone in the league that he sat next to Pop for all of those years and didn't retain anything. Keeping Sap should be the first task due to our draft position and weak assets. Then, we need to look seriously at Dwight and Baze. Someone has to go!
  16. Whaaaa? A little citizen justice, huh? Let's grab some pitch forks and force Mike Scott off the cliff. Lol! I hope you're just kidding, right?
  17. I can care less about how anyone feels about this post. His rotations are beyond ridiculous, and allowing Bazemore to repeatedly squander our lead should be enough justification for demotion. He needs to focus 100% of his time on coaching and development. Watching Prince on the bench during the final 3 minutes of the quarter made my blood boil. And Dwight needs his butt kicked! Dudes soft!
  18. Over-hyping much, eh? Washington has a mediocre bench and Wall will find a way to keep us in the game. The only threat is Beal, but I doubt he will put up superstars numbers consistently.
  19. Dennis' careless ball handing cost us a game. Then he smiles on the way down the court. The kid is Bobby Jackson. Nothing more than scoring guard off the bench. He never went to Dwight during the last 3 minutes of the game. He missed an open Tim Hardaway in the 1st quarter because he was looking for his own shot. I'd rather have Teague at the point because I know at least he will get the team involved. Bud went away from the Prince matchup on Butler and it got him hot. How in the living hell did he set next to Pop all of those years without learning basic basketball.
