  1. Bud might be a ringer for the rest of the league. How do you sit Humphries the entire second half after he lead the 1st half run? If I was ownership, Bud would be gone for being an egotistical piece of garbage. And thank you Teague for showing hurt and punishing Lebron.
  2. If we come out swinging and develop a 20 point lead, I can imagine Cleveland folding like a lawn chair. I wonder if Bud will learn from his mistakes and finally adjust Kyles minutes. We need to go heavy slasher on the wings and bring athleticism to the defensive perimeter. And I want to see Humphrey tonight.
  3. Horford hasn't been the same since Josh Smith left the Hawks. I use to get pummeled on this board for my opinion on Al and now everyone's starting to see what I've noticed all along. He will not re-up with Atlanta so expect him to be on the first flight to Laker Land. Dudes obviously playing not to get hurt and our coach doesn't have the gall to call him out. Its funny how quickly Teague, Baze, and Scott get pulled for simple mistakes or slumps, but Horford, Dennis, and Kyle can do whatever they want.
  4. Oh yeah, I wonder how Bud will manager Schröder during this series. The kid has to become mentally strong and not get sucked into the personal scuffs. Hinrich will log minutes this series.
  5. Good defense makes bad shooters take open shots. That's the whole point of the scheme. Make the role players make the open low percentage shots. If they miss, then we're off on the fast break. If they hit, then we live with it and see how many shots they can knock down. Another key is to keep JR Smith uncomfortable on the weak-side. Our defenders have to push him out of his spots when the ball rotates to the strong side. This means Kyle has to play smart defense and not cheat to the inside. If we can play disciplined defense, I like our chances. The Cavs aren't that good of a team when they're outside game is off. We should see a heavy dose of Humphreys this series to counteract Tristan Thompsons activity down low. It will be interesting to see Thompson play against another good on blocks.
  6. Might be the strangest, un-manliest thing I've ever saw. We have grown men walking around watching another grown mans pockets. Smh. Instead of tweeting like little "fun boys" Drummond and Brandon Jennings need to worry about getting better during the off-season. Someone should've retweeted Drummond a gif of himself left and right back-boarding freethrows. And they should've sent the D-League login to Brandon Jennings. But honestly, Baze is worth between $8-$9.5m per year...
  7. Jody, I fully agree with you. I don't know why we went with Kyle in that situation. I can see we were thinking about the Celtics fouling on the miss, but that's why you go with Jeff or Hardaway in that situation. Worst case scenario, we rebound on the miss and get fouled. One free throw makes this a 3pt game. With Isiah and Smart being the only three point shooters on the floor. Jared Crowder would be easy to guard off the ball.
  8. As I painfully continue to see Teague get trashed on this board, it only reminds me that all fans don't know basketball. The worst part of last nights play was seeing it happen as a former basketball player. I knew the playcall was trash at the 8 sec mark. As I sat there waiting for a pick and roll option with Sap my mouth was wide open in disbelief. Sap didn't move. Jeff looked uncomfortable. Then at the 5 second mark, Kyle Korver comes to set a fake screen that fooled no one. Jeff was throwed all off. Meanwhile Sap and his 45 points were stuck on the blocks. This possession was all on Bud. The most logical option would be to pick and roll Jeff and Sap. Or, allow Jeff to attack one on one a bit earlier in the clock to see if he could open a few options. If no ones open, you take the timeout and draw up another play. I can't believe we have a head coach who cannot draw a decent play out of the timeout. But check the article clip from the locker room interview after the game. For some reason Bud thinks Kyle is Larry Bird.
  9. Bud should've never burned that final timeout. Good coaches draw up two plays so that timeout can be saved. Yeah, Bud panicked.
  10. I'm proud of the guy. He never complained, he just laced up his shoes and put in WORK. Mack you better turn it up a notch because this kids looking for minutes!
  11. Can someone tell me how I can navigate to the chat. I'm lost.
  12. All while making a ham sandwich I bet. I like the buzz words, but I can't cosign the bogus-ness in your statement.
  13. Umm.. so... Dennis, you're not starter quality yet. You even so like a rookie during interviews. Trade him!
  14. The dumbest trade I've seen in a longtime. We scrapped ourselves on both sides of the ball for a mystery man. John Hart got lucky in Cleveland. He surrounded himself around great scouts those playoff years. I'm not buying it. Makes the Jason Heyward trade look even worse as far as paying talent goes.
  15. There was a reason why Glen Robinson III was on a Summer League team auditioning. I guess some of you all forgot. Haha. Hand down.. Man down..
  16. Nope.. Justin Holidays waaay better than Glen Robinson III aka Mario West 2.0.. I guarantee Holiday will be better than Demarre in our system.
  17. Cuban saw a player that's not a bum. He can shoot in space. John Jenkins will be a factor next year, Mark my words.
  18. I noticed three things while watching this last game. 1. Glen Robinson III can't dribble or create off of the dribble. 2. Edy Tavares has to get better with his angles and lateral movement when defending the pick'n roll. He was getting blown by when dropping to guard the ball handler. 3. Jerrell Eddie has been playing with a chip on his shoulder. The kid can shoot and he will definitely make an NBA team. I wish we gave him a longer look. He can really shoot the three with confidence.
  19. Very smooth player that can pick his spots without disrupting the offensive flow. And his high basketball IQ is a plus. I have a feeling he will make this roster and become a contributor off the bench late in the season.
  20. Yeah, I wasn't expecting those earning either. Haha. Talking about someone laughing on the way to the bank. And he's a smart kid so I'm sure he's diversified his financials. Hand down.. Man down..
  21. This dude has made over $10m in total over six seasons in the NBA. Why doesn't he have enough to retire? Are you kidding me! I have no sympathy for him. Especially, when I compare my yearly income with his..
  22. I agree.. I'm not against anyone making their money, but don't attack the team like we didn't want you here.. He knew the objective and the financial status of the team. You either get paid and we have to chop down a possible "championship" roster or we give you a "fair" deal to maintain the continuity. Obviously Demarre decided to get paid instead of taking a team friendly deal. Now this greedy SOB is trying to blame his exit on the team. Screw him! I knew this guy was all for his self when he made that comment before the playoffs.
