    With the Trae injury, we can go on full-on tank mode We can reasonably raise our Top 4 odds closer to 50% from the 20% we are at right now. We wont' outdo Detroit, SA, or Washington bad but we can certainly get to the Charlotte, Memphis, Portland area. Pick up Sheppard or Williams or Risacher or Sarr if he is there That would be a huge advantage going into next season to grab one of those

    This is the truth. Its personnel. We have the wrong group of personnel and nobody cared about actually constructing a super defensive team around Trae. I don’t trust the FO. I honestly think the best path forward is a complete reconstruction around JJ and Trae. Trae is still one of the best PGs in the league. I’m not partial to any other player anymore.. all of them can get packaged for defensive studs. Bogi Capela OO Bey DJ Kobe AJ Bruno Hunter Its just not working.. they built the roster the wrong way

    WTF Quin why My theory is AJ and Kobe have been shopped non-stop since June to include in trade packages which never even got close. Thats the only logical thing.

    Facts, first it was Lakers fans thirsting, now its San Antonio... These terrible fake horrible franchises just lusting after our star player for clicks and engagement. It honestly would be absolutely golden to see the sadness pour out when we have some star come here to join Trae instead of him moving out.

    Mac Mcclung is the best thing to happen to the Dunk contest since lavine/gordon and even before that it was hit or Miss. im ok with dunks coming from G-leaguers too… they introduced wnba into the format, why not g-league.. as for Trae.. I love Trae and he deserves a FO to build with a top tier defense around him. If the bozos in charge don’t do that, I don’t have faith they will get an all time haul back for him.

    I think Landry will end up getting fired. He doesn’t seem to be able to control the narrative and that usually turns into a disaster long term. This team is definitely trending towards a rebuild and I hate that. I wish we had decided to build defense around Trae after we drafted him. I feel like Trae was the right draft and Jalen was too but everything after that is super murky I also think Kobe might be our star SG going forward. I see him as a score first and defensive guard like Klay.

    Korver was with Matthews in Milwaukee and Fields was with Mills in SA. I just don't think this FO knows anything outside of what they know and who they know. Also, they look for Hawks DNA vs best available defenders or whatever. That is gonna be a huge disadvantage.
