  1. 100% wrong. Embiid was the front runner to go #1 before his injury.
  2. 21 and 11 for a 18 year old freshman in the ACC on a stacked Duke team but it’s only the shoe company hype. People are sleeping on Bagley just because of his wingspan. Sounds a lot like our first rounder last year.
  3. Can you please stop saying this like it’s a fact? Ive never seen someone so hurt about going from a treadmill team to tanking.
  4. Not several years but I would say this year and next year. So in reality 2 years and hope the management picks the right guys at the top of the draft. Risky? Yes but worth it.
  5. Yes, when we’ve been to the playoffs 10 straight years and never even sniffed the finals, it’s time to try a different route.
  6. Yeah I’ll take the chance at potentially landing a franchise player than losing in the 1st round of the playoffs again every day of that week.
  7. Based on nothing. I’d rather tank than be a treadmill team every year.
  8. Being 6’11 is a SF body? And he’s more skilled than that.
  9. Wrong. Draft a few studs (big if...I know) in the next couple drafts and the Hawks will be in the playoffs in less than 5 years.
  10. To be honest there are multiple guys in this draft I would take over Doncic.

    Does.....

Mitchell is an elite player already as a rookie? Definitely is not. Gobert is elite defensively but wouldn’t call him an elite player.
  12. They already lost that trade. IT has been a disaster with CLE so far. Plus we’d have to take back some of their bad contacts as well as giving them 1st round pick/Bazemore/Dedmon.
  13. I think they would give us IT if we traded them Schröder. Plus we also have Dedmon and Bazemore that would be intriguing options for them.
  14. No give me the BKN pick this year. Ayton with the possibility of Young/Luka/Porter jr...
  15. Lol leadership is better based on what? And his assists are better because he has 0 ability to score. His shooting may never develop. He’s even shooting under 50% from the line. Schröder >>> Ball
  16. Ok and Lonzo is shooting 33% from the floor and under 50% from the free throw line. Schröder can be a good 3rd option on a championship contender. Only way I trade him is if we get a top 10 pick / promising young player in return.
  17. You said we’ll be a lottery team for the next 5 years meaning non playoff team not contender. We have Schröder, Prince and Collins to build with. If we draft a Marvin over a Paul or a Sheldon Williams then you’re right on the timeline but it’s impossible to predict. If we do hit on the next two drafts and Collins/Prince keep progressing than I think we can be a playoff team in 2-3 years. Yes I know easier said than done.
  18. Well let’s see. Walker was 28 years in 04-05 while Schröder is 24 years old. Schröder is homegrown while it was Walker’s first and only season in Atlanta. They both averaged the same amount of points though Walker averaged 9 more minutes per game. Schröder is shooting 45.5% while Walker shot 41.5%. Schröder also has a lot higher PER and TS%. So to answer your question I didn’t care at all losing Walker and not seeing the comparison.
  19. Stop predicting the future and acting like it’s 100% when in reality you have no clue.
  20. More of a SG. My top choice right now is Bagley though.
  21. I want someone in the lottery to play with Schröder not replace him. I hope for a top 3 pick and no PG will be worth that anyway.
  22. Dennis is the best player on this team and I hope he’s here to stay.
  23. Mines the opposite lol. Bagley or Porter are my top choices. Luka doesn’t scream superstar to me and I’m still worried about the potential Collins/Ayton fit.
  24. So one misdemeanor arrest and now NBA’s teams want nothing to do with him?
