Ok and Lonzo is shooting 33% from the floor and under 50% from the free throw line. Schröder can be a good 3rd option on a championship contender. Only way I trade him is if we get a top 10 pick / promising young player in return.

You said we’ll be a lottery team for the next 5 years meaning non playoff team not contender. We have Schröder, Prince and Collins to build with. If we draft a Marvin over a Paul or a Sheldon Williams then you’re right on the timeline but it’s impossible to predict. If we do hit on the next two drafts and Collins/Prince keep progressing than I think we can be a playoff team in 2-3 years. Yes I know easier said than done.

Well let’s see. Walker was 28 years in 04-05 while Schröder is 24 years old. Schröder is homegrown while it was Walker’s first and only season in Atlanta. They both averaged the same amount of points though Walker averaged 9 more minutes per game. Schröder is shooting 45.5% while Walker shot 41.5%. Schröder also has a lot higher PER and TS%. So to answer your question I didn’t care at all losing Walker and not seeing the comparison.
