  1. Anybody that is ok with losing in the first round and 2nd round for 10 straight years doesn’t care about championships. The Hawks tried your way and didn’t win one game past the 2nd round but let’s keep down the same path! And please stop with the dumb comparisons. Bagley will never learn improve his defense because Wiggins hasn’t. Bamba will never be a good shooter because Ben Simmons hasn’t. Hawks are tanking so now they’re trying to be the Kings.
  2. That’s becasue you’re ok with being a treadmill team. We’ve already established this. And we’ve never won one game past the 2nd round but you’re talking about championships? Lmao. That 60 win team is the best Hawks team in history and was swept by an injured Cavs team. You can’t seriously think we’d have any chance to beat the Warriors anytime soon.
  3. Yeah we’ll just have to see. I feel like a lot of people disregard his passing ability and because of that will be more than a 6th man for sure. He has unreal vision and should rack up 9+ assists a game. And if the scoring translates.....superstar.
  4. Even if his defense is awful i think his offense will be too good to pass up. His turnovers will go down with experience and not being double teamed half the time he touches the ball like in college.
  5. Because Bagley doesn’t have a limited skill set.
  6. I think Hawks and taking Trae Young over Doncic, Bamba or JJJ.
  7. Going to the playoffs and losing in the first round is a losing culture. Hawks went to the playoffs 10 straight yet no one considers them a “winning franchise”.
  8. It really doesn’t. Whether you win 18 or 30 games you’re still a bad non playoff team. I’d rather win 18 games and get the higher draft pick.
  9. Looks like we would pass on Luka if this is accurate. Luka Doncic is projected to go No. 4 in the latest ESPN Mock Draft. Jonathan Givony was asked about whether that projection will hold up. "That's how it looks right now, unless somebody trades up," said Jonathan Givony on the Lowe Post Podcast. "Unless one of these really good playoff teams decides (to trade up). "I think the good teams love him. The bad teams hate him. That's what I'm getting so for." Doncic is as low as No. 8 on some teams boards. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/250232/Good-Teams-Love-Luka-Doncic-Bad-Teams-Hate-Him

  11. From Marc Stein “Michael Porter Jr. to Sacramento at No. 2? There are rival teams who believe that the Kings are still strongly weighing it ...” “The Grizzlies, meanwhile, continue to receive significant trade interest in the No. 4 pick in scenarios where they would also send out Chandler Parsons. The Grizz are said to be taking more calls than they're making, but staying in the high lottery is obviously crucial to Memphis“
  12. Bagley is superior to Randle. Marvin Bagley - 18 years old @ Duke 21.0 ppg, 11.1 rpg 61.4% FG, 40% 3pt, 10.7 BPM Julius Randle - 19 years old @ Kentucky 15.0 ppg, 10.4 rpg 50.1% FG, 17% 3pt, 7.1 BPM
  13. My top 3 in no order Trae Young Marvin Bagley Luka Doncic
  14. This is all based on nothing. If Bagley is Randle then JJJ is Noah Vonleh.
  15. Bagley shot 40% from 3 as an 18 year old but can’t space the floor? And you criticize other people for making up lies about JJJ.
  16. Randle and Bagley is not a good comparison other than their tall and left handed. Bagley is 2 inches taller, MUCH better motor, more athletic, better shooter/overall scorer. Which one looks better? Marvin Bagley - 18 years old @ Duke 21.0 ppg, 11.1 rpg 61.4% FG, 40% 3pt, 10.7 BPM Julius Randle - 19 years old @ Kentucky 15.0 ppg, 10.4 rpg 50.1% FG, 17% 3pt, 7.1 BPM
  17. I agree. I’m not saying he’s a good shooter just not a non shooter like kb21 said.
  18. Experts and NBA execs are high on guys that turn out to be busts every single year. And I don’t necessarily think JJJ will be a bad NBA player just someone that’s not worth a top 3 pick.
  19. Unless we get another top 10 pick I don’t want either but I’d take Bamba over JJJ any day of the week. But keep thinking just because JJJ has a high BPM that he’s going to best player in the draft.
  20. John Collins hit 0 3’s in 2 years at WF...he improved. Horford improved his set shot a lot over the years. (Not just under Bud) But apparently Bamba can’t improve his jump shot because Ben Simmons hasn’t? And Bagley will never improve his defense because Andrew Wiggins hasn’t? Makes total sense got it.
  21. Yeah because Bamba can’t improve right? And I never even claimed he’s a good shooter but non shooter is incorrect. Doncic can not shoot or pass as well as Trae.
  22. Bagley is actually a very good ball handler for his size. Not many 6’11 guys can handle the ball like him. And I watched many Duke games as well as Wendell Carter at Pace a few times and he’s a tier below Bagley.
  23. So JJJ equates to winning games at the NBA level yet he couldn’t even get crucial minutes in college at the most important part of their season? Makes sense.
  24. He won’t be the shooter Curry is but he’s a better passer and still has the offensive ability to put up 20-25 ppg. But can he do it efficiently without turning the ball over at a high rate? That’s the question. With more spacing and not getting double teamed almost every time he touches the ball I think we’ll regret passing on him. (If we do)
