  1. Wow. Would never have guessed only one win. Especially the Bulls when they had it going.
  2. Whiteside got hurt tonight. Wonder how many minutes he will be good for in the next few games. Miami seems fragile when thinking about them facing the Cavs, if they do face the Cavs.
  3. Five years at the max is too far.
  4. LeBron's mom got a Hummer on LeBron's rep while he was still in high school. Like mother like son. A serious diva but what great flopper.
  5. I surely wish Hoford had the same mindset as Duncan. Al is a multimillionaire so if he put the team first he could get his five contract but could also give the Hawks a discount like Tim has for the Spurs. Guessing it's a pipe dream. My hats off to Tim.
  6. I agree with the front court lineup for the majority of minutes. If nothing else let's see if it works. Humph really is aggressive on the glass and we are desperate for rebounds due to a flaw in Bud's philosophy. The rebounding flaw. Someone has to get hot from outside too.
  7. Right now they only have three starters or four if you count Nance. I think only Randle would start on a winning team now. How much patience will the Lakers have. I believe Walton will have two or three years to win. Odds aren't good for him.
  8. Al use to average over nine rebounds a game and now he is allergic to glass. When he was in the paint his defense was good unless he was outweighed by thirty pounds. Like people have stated, he does seem to be protecting himself physically. When he gets the contract will he be back to form? If so we will really need him.
  9. Adams not getting shots and Westbrook misses over twenty shots. Wow.
  10. Hey Spursfan, in a close game Duncan didn't play hardly at all. Are you surprised?
  11. I really like your bench assuming Korver doesn't fall off anymore. The starters would bring good offense.
  12. Yea, Horf does not have the typical last contract year mindset. Normally players play lights out to secure the next big contract. Surprising to me.
  13. Hope the Cavs get embarrassed by the Warriors or Spurs. Long shot of the Thunder.
  14. "We're a team that's destined for greatness," James said. Like salt in our open wound. They can make us look really bad even with us having our best game of the series. Closing out is not our thing. Hope we take a least the next game with a strong 48 minutes.
  15. The Cavs do just seem comfortable against us. Still, our minutes distribution burned us again in the end.
  16. The FO seems satisfied with winning fifty games or so and then getting abused by LeBron and company in the playoffs. What will the new ownership do? Probably keep the status quo.
  17. So Bud has become like our PGs of the regular season in that he is very up and down. Hump did well but Bud stopped using him late. Is this the same coach we had last year during the regular season? Posters talk about his being stubborn a lot. He does develop players well but there is seems to be a ceiling on his coaching. Of course the Cavs shooting has a lot to do with that right now.
  18. Teague, Thabo and Humph played pretty well (our big three,Ha). Jaybird was right on about Thabo being on the court whenever J.R. was. Bud made that adjustment and J.R. shot hardly at all. When the Cavs start rolling like that it's kinda scary. Jeepers.
  19. If we grab some rebounds we should win. They have twice as many rebounds than us. Thabo leading with four but were are scrapping.
  20. Thank goodness, I started feeling ill till you straightened me out just now.
  21. Jenkins averaged eleven minutes a game and scored four points a game. Not even a crazy expanding cap explains a 39 mil contract. Someone is making a serious mistake. Sounds like April's Fool.
  22. Unreal. The guy is hurt a lot and when he's on the court he's just not particularly good. He will average over 16 mil a year? I remember when the hawks talked about him but drafted Jenkins.
  23. Couldn't agree with you more. We know we are going to have Tiago and Edy on the roster at C. I would be very surprised at someone else wanting to trade for Tiago. He is damaged goods and had nagging injuries before we got him. Humph would be a positive in the front court.
  24. Assuming Scott can play next season (hopefully) maybe we can sign Humph and let Moose go. There is more expense, I think he is pro rated at 4 mil right now. With the way he has bounced from team to team lately I wonder if he is in that same pay range next year. Once again the new cap could ruin this idea. He does help with one glaring weakness we have.
