We're not bad negotiators. The Ilbaka was was simply for Orlando to fill a need they've been needing to fix for going on 3 seasons. Ilbaka gives them a shot blocker to go alongside the frontcourts of Gordon and Vucevic so they can finally have some defensive toughness. What they offered for Teague at the trade deadline only goes to prove that they believe they had a bigger need which turned out to be Serge.

I really don't think Bud is concerned with filling our PG spot with someone who can shoot. I think he's looking for more effectiveness and someone who can contribute. Which is why I think a guy like MCW,Lin,or Livingston would work well here. Plus with their size it makes for a great compliment to Schröder an his quickness.

Most here are hating on the idea that we did not lure Hayward,Hood,or any player in this deal. Some wishing we would've just done the deal with Philly, and others who just wish we kept Teague all together. However the thing is the deal has NOTHING TO DO with what we were going to get in return. This was a deal for the FUTURE. Allow me to explain. 1.Jeff Teague was not happy here in Atlanta anymore. If you don't believe me please feel free to look into his actions on social media,throughout all sports outlets,or heck even watch some of the games post all-star break. Teague was not happy to be an Atlanta Hawk any longer. 2.This deal has not or does not have ANYTHING to do with Al Horford. Most here are saying this is a move to strictly max out Al Horford. This move is strictly to free up some space so we can add to this already playoff ready roster 3.We traded for a draft pick so we can have more trade bait.
