I mean, there appears to be some semblance of an offense only due to the fact that it looks like guys are hitting certain spots on the perimeter. But yeah...I'm curious to see what we look like when we need a play drawn up on the spot. So far, we haven't been competitive so I'm not sure if that has even come up.

GS plays Green at the 5 in their small ball lineup. I think even if Spellman surpasses expectations, he can start at the 5. He's 6'9"....what's Draymond? 6'7" tops? And honestly, best case scenario of Prince>Collins>Spellman at 3>4>5 doesn't sound horrible on defense based on potential.

Collins was the only untouchable asset at the trade deadline. If we're still talking about defensive woes next offseason he might be moved. He's just not getting the hype right now because he isn't a new pick. And a 30th overall pick isn't going to be ready to start day 1...or possibly even season 1.

As someone who attends at least 35 or so games a year, I was pretty distraught at first when we passed on Doncic. I think he would've been a great draw to the arena, especially with all the media hype he was getting up to the draft. I think if Trae comes out and gets big minutes early on, can land a couple of highlights on SC, etc, he will bring the fans out. I'm over us passing on Doncic at this point, too. Mostly because the two teams who were probably the most incentivized/familiar with Doncic passed as well....that definitely makes me feel better.

No thanks. Boogie is a frustrating player to watch. It would be a slight upgrade from Dwight. Impressive numbers, but a lot of low effort plays. Saw enough of him in Sac....and NOP were better without him when Davis was able to be the big man.

Yeah, that's how I felt watching their last tourney game too. Literally zero offense outside of him pulling something out of double/triple teams in some cases. Stuff you will never see at the NBA level. As long as he can adjust to the speed of the nba and move the ball he should be successful.

Anybody else feeling better the day after? I was pretty pissed last night, now I'm starting to feel better. Idk if its because of the stuff I've been reading today saying the Hawks had a good draft, or all the Trae Young highlight videos, or the fact that we got another pick for next year....but today is better. I'm ready to buy a Trae Young jersey.
