    LOU WILL

Lou Will was the truth in High School. I believe he's still the all-time leading scorer in Georgia High School history. One of the last players to go from High School to the NBA. Dude was unreal. I forgot the other guard who played with him.
  2. Money would be an issue as well. With Trae's new raise, Collins raise, Ayton getting maxed to leave Phoenix, Simmons making at least 35 million, and then Grant asking for at least 28 to 30 million it wouldn't be possible unless Supes, Diesel, JayBird, Threezus, AHF, and me fill out the rest of the roster. I like the thinking out of the box though.
  3. We would lose a lot defensively without Capela but no doubt Ayton would work well with Trae. Ayton would probably match up better against the Joel Embiids of the world during playoff time. His length would create problems against other bigs and he would be harder to push around. My only concern would be the max contract. I definitely would love to get him though. Can we also add a player like Oladipo if we get Ayton?
  4. We need to get this man some help. ASAP!
  5. (TITS). He has done a great job and I still believe in him. Yes, this will be an important summer but he must be careful in not going overboard, making moves to just make moves. We have Some really good pieces around Trae and we must be careful in trying to add pieces who just don't fit. Yes, the goal should be to try and get another Star player to team with Trae but it has to be the right player or players. I'm interested in how (TITS) takes us to another level. I would love to add a KD, AD, Ben Simmons, or maybe a Zach Lavine to the team if possible. But I'm rolling with (TITS)on any moves he makes this offseason. PS: I still believe we're just as good as/or better than Boston and Miami. Our players have to have a different mindset next season on the defensive end and how they approach all of the games. That's the only thing besides injuries (IMO) that separate us from those other teams. I also don't regret us not making changes last season. We have a lot more good pieces than bad ones.
  6. I don't like that trade. I believe this will be TITS biggest off-season yet, good or bad. I would like to try and acquire these players only because I believe some players just don't fit. These are just my choices but this is my order in which I hope TITS operates. 1) KD, 2) AD, 3) Ben Simmons, and 4) Donovan Mitchell. Your thoughts please?
  7. Nate is safe for now but if I could get someone else, it would be Jeff Van Gundy. I heard Trae loves him too.
  8. Amen Gray Mule, this team could still have a great future. The main question IMO is (1) Can we find another legit superstar to pair with Trae Young without giving up all our other assets or perceived assets? I excited to see what TITS comes up with. This will be an interesting summer. Let's hope Trae wants to stay for the long haul.
  9. No, Nate shouldn't be fired. This is the first time I've seen him get totally outcoached. It was depressing too watch and I'm glad Miami finished us. We literally had no answers. It felt like we had no will to counter punch. What happened to crisp ball movement and attacking the paint aggressively to draw fouls. JSMH

    FRUSTRATED

I'm glad we won but the truth is the truth. For us to be successful we have to stop playing like Jane and more like Tarzan on the road. You say untimely but I'm going with timely, I might need to keep doing this during every game. Maybe we'll keep winning.
  11. So now Trae is the problem, JSMH. It's not his fault that most of his supporting casts are bums masquerading as NBA players. We were hornswaggled, bamboozled by our own minds. We can't blame the owner, the general manager, or the coach. The players have to take most of the blame for this nonsense. A coach can call a great play but it won't work unless the players run it correctly and buys in. Trae really needs help and we're going to lose him if we don't get another legit star within the next 2-3 years. Everybody other than Trae should be available.

    FRUSTRATED

Is there any player in the league that makes more dumb (boneheaded) decisions than Bogdanovich? He cost us a game last week against Detroit by fouling Cade Cunningham for no particular reason at the end of that game. I'm frustrated as heck watching this team crumble and fall apart in these road games. It's like a broken record, or living the same nightmare over and over again. Hawks play well in the first half then they start making ridiculous turnovers and play the complete opposite of the first half.
  13. If you recorded or DVR this game please go back to the Trae jump shot at 1:15. The shot clock was at 4.2. When Trae missed the shot, the shot clock went back to 24 seconds then from 23 seconds to 14 seconds immediately. We got jobbed by the guy running the clock. I noticed it immediately and the referees should have too. Wow

    Hawks Basketball

Just shaking my head. Why didn't we keep feeding Gallinari down the stretch? They couldn't stop him.
  15. I think that is his main issue right now Diesel, I believe he got too big working out with LeBron. He lost weight after his last injury and he looked quicker and played much better intil this new ankle injury.
  16. Jeff Van Gundy. I love his overall demeanor. Feisty as heck, very demanding, smart, would go the extra mile for a player, doesn't get a darn about referees, very adaptable to the new game but he's old school, and he's a little crae crae.
  17. Absolutely. The only problem I would have is giving up Bogi. I would remove Bogi and maybe add another 1st. Anthony Davis would probably say no but I believe he needs a fresh start away from LeBron. He is still a top 12 player and we need another star to play with Trae.
  18. I hope we stay away from Jerami Grant and Marcus Smart. Grant isn't good enough and would be a bad fit and Smart would bring defense but he appears to be unstable and uncoachable at times.
  19. My earlier post might have been misleading. There's no way I'm trading John Collins and Cam Reddish for KAT. I only said that KAT and Trae would be wonderful together on offense and horrendous on defense. I like KAT but I don't think he's a winning player.
  20. KAT would fit right in. All offense and no defense. He's a really good player but I wouldn't do it. He gets hurt just as much or more than DeAndre Hunter. We would have to give up too much. He would also have to player power forward with Capela at Center. I think KAT is too slow to guard power forwards. With all that said, Trae and KAT would be a great offensive combination but the defense would be terrible.
  21. I wouldn't want Hunter playing the four full-time, but 8 to 10 minutes a night won't hurt the team. I believe the way the game is trending now will force us to play him at the 4 a lot more in the foreseeable future anyway. It will also give us more flexibility IMO.
  22. Yes, I still Trust In Travis Schlenk. I love the roster that he has put together. The only move I don't like now is the Delon Wright move. With that said, most people will blame Schlenk because yes he is the President of Basketball Ops but some of the players have to take responsibility. I believe Cam, John Collins, Bogi, and Hunter should all be back within 1 or 2 weeks, barring any more mishaps. When these guys return, it will probably take them at least 5 to 6 games to get back in the flow of things. We don't need a fire sale but look for Gallinari to be the main salary piece in a trade involving 2 or 3 lower tier players with more defined roles, preferably defense. It just makes too much sense in my opinion. We can give Hunter the backup minutes at the 4 spot behind Collins and they can play together in small ball lineups. This will also give more time for Cam, Bogi, and the Red Mamba. We really miss Solo's leadership. I know I'm rambling. Thoughts?
  23. Great breakdown Sir. I don't really care about how D. Hunter and our pieces fit together as long as they defend.. I just hate guys like Dieng and Delon taking shots when they shouldn't.
  24. I agree Supes. The NBA doesn't know, show, or care about what's really going on in the "A". I really believe most of the people in the know around the league hates our guts. No way I'm trading away Cam Reddish for just a 1st round pick. I'd consider moving him for a top five pick in a very good draft. Cam is getting ready to explode.
