Whatever happens this season just happens. I'm more excited about what he does after roster changes this offseason. It's clear that we have guys that don't fit what we will need them to do going forward.
Why is that surprising? If, God forbid, anything happened to Trae's career, I would much rather it be derailed by an injury than by the gun flashing "foolishness" that Ja has done recently.
I'm fine if Collins doesn't play another game for us. He doesn't fit, Jalen and Bey do. Let's rip the band-aid and trade him for circus peanuts and dinner scraps this off-season.
I think it would be a stability thing. I don't think he would get $18m/season, nor does anyone here probably, but he has injury history and he's not hurt now making it ideal to get a longer term deal. Maybe he can get $36/3yr or something and maximize his earnings while healthy.
2004-05 Season. I started becoming a fan during our 13 win season because I was hoping for the top pick. I became a fan after that. My family moved to Atlanta in 1999-2000, so I had been to games before that but I wouldn't call myself a fan before then.
I don't know why anyone is complaining about this. We made a move to improve our bench, which he does. He's not starting. Bench depth is probably this team's biggest weakness, and this helps that.
