I guess depending on how it is done I would be interested. From what I understand the ideal is for all of us to meet somehow. Now if we are switching games how can that happen. I am kinda spoiled I have never sat up there accept for the force game. I also like to take my sons to the game I am interested in how this format is suppose to be.

I made it I was there with My dominque Jersey with my son waring a J-Chill jersey and my other son waring a vick jersey. Met a lot of people not sure if any were squawkers though.

Gray I love the way you put that. It puts a lot of things in prospective. I just hope things get better for us.

I have plans on being there. Does anyone know if this will be a family enviournment.

I have been a Hawks fan for about 20 Years. I have a whole room full of Hawks gear. I have niques Jersey but it is not signed. I also have the T'shirt hanging on my wall from the night Nique retired his jersey. I guess my oldest memories are those of Reggie Theous and Roy Sparro but I have been a fan longer than that.

I am on this board for the better part of 4 or 5 times a week. I read from you guys, I sometimes wonder what kind of fan am I? I see the stats you keep up with. I see the trade proposals. I see Scout proposals. I don't know much about any of that. The only team I watch is the Hawks. I get most of my knowledge from you guys. I do attend games every chance I get and I have a room in my house dedicated to Hawks paraphernalia. People walk in my house and say why in the world are you a Hawks fan. My only answer is I don't know I just like the Hawks. I was just trying to find some help in figuring out why I am considered a Hawks fan. When I am out of town, as I am allot I try to attend games when the Hawks are in the town. I am often asked who is your team this year? I reply the same, as it has been for the past 25 years The Atlanta Hawks. They laugh and ask when is the last time they have won a game I just reply they don't have to win for me to like them I just like them and hope they win. I guess I am a fan just because I am huh?

I tell you this. I loved watching the games. This year was a big gigantic upgrade from last year. Think about it. No blow out games. A whole lot more excitement. A little allstar recognition. I am not complaining a bit. It was fun just hoping for an ally-oop, Just wating for J'Smooth to cathch the ball down low drop step and "dunk on them" as deke would say. Last year I knew we were going to loose I just hoped it would not be by much. This year I know we are going to loose but it is a chance to win every game and I knew it would be a good game.

If we are giving PT to those that we suspect are not going to be on the team next year wouldn't we market them to get maximum trade value? Not sure why but that is what I would assume other than that you would go for wins to boost moral for next year or you would play the young talent for exp next year. So my best guess is Trade value.

What makes you a real fan? Is it because you have a lot of post on a message board? Is it because you want your team to win? Is it because you are fortunate enough to purchase season tickets? We are questioned as fans, we question each other as fans but how do you know you are a fan? Do you label yourself as a fan or do people come to your house and look around and tell you that you are a Hawks fan. How long do you have to be a Hawks fan to be a true hawks fan. Can you wake up and say I like those Hawks and now you are a fan. Do you have to remember the glory days before you can be a fan or do you have to be able to ACE a Hawks trivia? Just curious.

I admit that this year has been kind of hard for me. First I have been in Memphis the whole year and have not had the opportunity to go to but about 7 Hawks games (to include two in Memphis)this year which is probably still more than a lot of "Real fans on this board". But I like to see my team win. However I have been a fan long enough to want something better than the first round of the playoffs year after year. Thats why I was tired of Pete. Reality did not hit me until I was at the game the night Nique retired #21 the whole place Boo'd Pete. I knew then that we had to have something better. I was willing to sit through a few loosing seasons so that we can have what we once had and maybe better. So if loosing could make us better than thats what we have to do. Thats what we do as adults. We do what we have to do to get what we think is best. Does that make me a Pseudo-Hawk fan. I hope not. I love to see the Hawks win but I know sometimes you have to struggle to get to the top and I am willing to struggle with my team to get what I want. I will stand by my team through the Bad and the Good. If that is not a real fan then you tell me what is.

I am not sure what the answer is; but if that is the case why would we waste our time loosing to get a high draft pick when there is a great chance they do not waht to play with us. If it were true then I wonder if we are trying to win all those games we are loosing are we that bad off?

The mear fact that we are not being blown out by no team lets you know that we are some kind of contender. Most of the games we start out on top so we have some talent out there. I would love to see some wins but I really understand our losses. By some sort of fortune be it bad or good. I am not able to see the Hawks play this season. I am stuck in Grizzle/Tiger land until May and I have been here since July. They only Hawks game I have been to is the Grizzly preseason game. They only games I see on TV are the ones I catch on the weekends I am home. So the losses are not as fustrating to me as those that would watch all the games. But I will be there next year to watch them all. Hopefuly we will not be focusing on rebuilding next year.

Yeah I sat in these seats before. It is cool because you can shout at the players but not much if you are really in to the game.

I never ?'d CC's Heart it was his talent that I ?'d. I loved his hussle. I loved his leaping ability. He just had to try to hard for me. How long could it last. It looked like every moment he was on the floor it was going to be his last. That is both good and bad. I love a hard worker but sometimes people work hard to cover up something they are missing.

I guess I have reached a point that I just like to see them play well. I have had my heart stepped on too many times hoping for a winning season or a lottery pic. I just wanna see a good game. I love the game and I love the hawks I just wanna see a good close game when everyone is on point. If we win great if we loose well....Lets just say I hope we win all games.

Didn't we release him because we got someone that would decrese his already low playing time to basicly none. If I was going to be paid to for nothing I would rather be at home. Well, if you count out the $250 perdium. So it was not that he did not want to play with us it is just he made a life decision that it is better to be with my family making the money then being on the road away from my family making the same money.

Does it look like we are in the game. From the looks of the score it looks like they are running over us.

My only conceren is that we start to feel bad about loosing. I saw this in the past. When they started to loose they just gave up. I hope that does not happen to these guys. I hope this has not already happened. I have not seen them play in a few weeks, I was hoping that you guys could tell me if they play like they could win or are the just out there on the floor.

Currently I am on a project in Memphis Tn. so I don't get to see many games. I catch what I can when I am home in Atlanta and the one preseason game here. Between the games I have seen and the scores that update on my cell phone at the end of every quarter. There is hope, just that little good feeling that they Hawks might just win. I don't know maybe it is just me. I went from not expecting anything from them last year to every game is a possible win. To me this is way better than last year.

I guess that means he is healthy. I wonder if we have room or any interest in him?

I guess after watching J-Smooth play it makes you want to see more of him. And it seems like he is not there enough. Just like any other superstar on a team. If Shaq sits down for 2 min it seems like he is gone too long.

I was playing NBA live 05 and he is on the Hawks team I thought he was still on our payroll.

I am going to set up a paypal account (if anyone knows how to do this please save me the research and let me know)I am going to start of with the $5 dollar deposit. Wich is non refundable so that they can hold our seats. She says that she is working on making us a banner so that the camara crew can focus on us during the game. In addition, our group can host a meet & greet at Headlines Bar & Grill in the arena. The cost would be $10 per person (in addition to the ticket). They will have the option of hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich or pasta. Each meal includes a side item and beverage. I wanna get this started but I don't wanna do this if we are not going to have the turn out to support it. So far I feel like we can get about 10 to 15 people is this right or is most of us just not saying anything? Let me know guys what you wanna do.

I know it is preseason. I konw we are trying different things and different combonations( I saw the same rotation in Memphis that I did in Miami minus 42 squared.) But I still wanted to see J-chill break loose and get a slam dunk. Aw should do what he does. I just wanted to see some action. I did not get any of that.

I did not expect a winning season but like you said I want progression. I want exitement. I wanna be able to say something positive about each game. Can I get that?
