yeah I go to all the preseason public practices. I have a room full of posters "Thundersticks, Bannars,Towels, autographed penants and posters, and a Jearsy. But no clock. And of all the games I have been to; I have never recieved anything free thrown in my direction.

Sorry for the repost but this applies here too. I guess it really boils down to consistency. I guess changing my tire every time the road gets bumpy does not work for me. I say that to say, you have to take the growing pains. I hate to see us loose. I was with all this change only because I was tired of us getting to the second round of the playoffs and loosing. That was just getting on my nerves. So now what, 50 players and 5 coaches later we are begging for what we used to have. How do we get back there? Do we keep applying band aids, do you put your kid up for adoption because they are failing in school. I don't think so. I think we let the wounds heal. Let the growing pains occur. You have to find a way to put the fire under the people. Don't fire them. Start docking pay or something. Make people want to play or coach for another reason if winning a game does not work for them.

Well it is defenantly more than 100 people I would say a couple of hundred people. I have never had to stand up. They have a scrimmage. Game like setting. Then they go back take a shower and come back and sign autograpghs. Latley I guess more people are comming but they started doing this table thing. Where certing players are at certain tables. You choose which table you go to and get those autographs. Like you may get Smooth with ZaZa then Harry the hawk. I like the old way where you go to the players that you want. They usualy give away like penants to get autographs on or maybe a poster with the whole team on it. I usualy get there pretty late not sure what they do before the game. But I have 12 year olds and they like it so I go every year.

I got pretty much the same thing. I don't think it is a problem and I don't think we are all getting special seeting since I have 5 tix. I don't know how to put the picture on there but it is pretty much the same way as yours.

Yeah I liked Smooths J's. They did not look forced. Kinda reminds me of CC's return. If he keeps it up teams will have to respect it and he will fly past his defender alot more. That will = Showtime. I say as long as he is comfortable with it like he looked last night. Keep it up.

I will be there with my 3 boys. I go every year. It is fun for the kids to see the players up close and personal. Plus I get new hawks penants with autographs for my hawks room.

Is it a way we could put our names on it maybe on the front like in a corner?

I have been trying to put this meeting together for a long time. You know I had to get my 5 tickets. I probably would have been at the game anyway but now it is just that much better.

I guess I am among the older folk at 34. I will be 35 start of the season.

I have tried this on severl ocassions. It is hard to pick a game and the booths are rather expensive. I have met a few squawkers. I have met Traceman and Jay sat with them at a couple of games. Truatlballer is my brother. I would love to meet all the guys and gals on the board. I have been reading and posting some on this board since the AJC days. wich brings me back to the question did we ever figure out if Diesal and walter were the same person? I am local to the atlanta game I am down for any game any situation to meet. I will be there. I guess a month notice will do well for most and I am sure a weekend would be a prefrance.

The ideal is for us to try to sit together since most of us have no clue what anyone looks like; trying to find each other in the arena would be a nightmare. So if we could organize where we could I guess get at least 20 or so people in the same area then everyone else that comes could come to that section. Or atleast meet at halftime.

Allot of people say they would love to do this. But if you talk about it now they say lets wait until the schedule comes out. When the schedule comes out they want to wait to see how we play to see what game we want to see. Sometimes I question just what kind of fans we have. Do we support the Hawks because we are fans or only when we play certain teams?

The past two years I have been trying to organize a single game or two. The problem has always been what game to agree on. I have even checked on party rooms that would mention us while we are at the game. For some reason everyone is interested but no one is able to commit to a game. I admit that last year I was out of town the whole season but I would still have committed to a weekend game. I know there are out of Towner’s and out of countryers so if we can choose now people would have time to plan and make arrangements for this to happen.

Remember last year I was trying to organize just one game for us to meet. I don't know what it is but there is alot of talking and not a whole lot of action on this board.
