u say scoring and rebounding were his strengths...everyone else said passing and court vision were his strengths

i'm seriously shocked that anyone would think he wasn't a pg...i've never seen any debate on the subject or seen anyone say he was anything but a pg...

thanks nicholas, i didnt really feel like looking all that up haha, but seriously...Livingston has amazing handles and passing ability, he isnt even really much of a scorer...he's a distributor

has him as a junior ranked 5th (aldridge 4th!)...notice it says 'pg' as his position...so as a jr and sr and in nba he's always been considered a pg

it is funny watching people comment on players they have never seen play.

Not only does he have great pg skills on offense but he also has the speed to guard them on D. His speed rivals Felton.

Unfortunately he is so weak that it is very questionable how much of an impact he will have in the NBA. he is a project so he would fit right in here.

The Clippers have a team that can contend for a title without him. Adding Artest may be enough to put them over the top.

I was reading about Elton Brand and he said he was rapper, one of the best 100 alive. He even said "Ask Artest, he will tell you I am the best" lol.

besides the fact that EVERYONE said he was pg (not g) at least as a jr, sr and in the nba, here is his stat line in hs

30 games

18 ppg

6.2 rpg

5.6 apg

he had 35% of the team's assists that year

yes he scored and rebounded...but he also got nearly 6apg

or was thinking of someone else. That doesn't change anything though. His injury problems are enough to make trading Marvin for him a no-deal. I might trade Childress for him straight up. But that's about as far is it would go.

plus...he and JJ could turn into the best backcourt in the NBA...but it is true that he is terribly thin, he needs to put on some weight so he can take the punishment over a long season, but if he can do that, he's gonna be awesome

ok, i thought u truly believed that...no prob, mistakes happen

anyway, i wouldn't trade marvin or chill for him either, due to his injury problems

however, i would trade al for livingston/wilcox in a heartbeat

but not marvin/chill/smoove..if livingston ever stays healthy for 2+ years, then i'd trade a LOT to get him

Why would we trade our best player for a backup-talent PF/C and a scawny "pg" who can't stay healthy? We can do better than that...

Livingston is certainly a PG ... when he plays. He has only played 31 games, a month into his second year. I think he will always be injured. He is the guy I really wanted out of last year's draft, but it seems like so far his body has not kept up

We don't need to trade Marvin, just Harrington. The big question mark is whether or not the Clipps are willing to part with Livingston to get Artest. I seriously doubt it.
