"Livingston will be able to dominate an NBA game without scoring a single point."

" widely recognized as the best high school point guard prospect"

u say scoring and rebounding were his strengths...everyone else said passing and court vision were his strengths

i'm seriously shocked that anyone would think he wasn't a pg...i've never seen any debate on the subject or seen anyone say he was anything but a pg...

InsideHoops.com: What parts of your game right now do you think are truly NBA-ready -- your passing, I'd assume -- and what do you want to work on the most?

Shaun Livingston: Obviously my passing, ball-handing, and my IQ as far as (ready) for the game. Things to work on: my perimeter shooting and my strength.

http://highschoolelite.com/2004/livingston.html

"Position: Point Guard"

and again, he has not played ONE SINGLE MINUTE at anything but pg since he joined the nba

from 2003:

http://probasketball.about.com/b/a/007911.htm

"star PGs Shaun Livingston and Sebastian Telfair looked good"

http://nbadraft.net/highschool.htm

has him as a junior ranked 5th (aldridge 4th!)...notice it says 'pg' as his position...so as a jr and sr and in nba he's always been considered a pg

it is funny watching people comment on players they have never seen play.

Not only does he have great pg skills on offense but he also has the speed to guard them on D. His speed rivals Felton.

Unfortunately he is so weak that it is very questionable how much of an impact he will have in the NBA. he is a project so he would fit right in here.

The Clippers have a team that can contend for a title without him. Adding Artest may be enough to put them over the top.

I was reading about Elton Brand and he said he was rapper, one of the best 100 alive. He even said "Ask Artest, he will tell you I am the best" lol.

There's nothing in his HS career to indicate that he is a PG. he was a scorer and a rebounder.

besides the fact that EVERYONE said he was pg (not g) at least as a jr, sr and in the nba, here is his stat line in hs

30 games

18 ppg

6.2 rpg

5.6 apg

he had 35% of the team's assists that year

yes he scored and rebounded...but he also got nearly 6apg

...Exactly....

plus...he and JJ could turn into the best backcourt in the NBA...but it is true that he is terribly thin, he needs to put on some weight so he can take the punishment over a long season, but if he can do that, he's gonna be awesome

ok, i thought u truly believed that...no prob, mistakes happen

anyway, i wouldn't trade marvin or chill for him either, due to his injury problems

however, i would trade al for livingston/wilcox in a heartbeat

but not marvin/chill/smoove..if livingston ever stays healthy for 2+ years, then i'd trade a LOT to get him

Here you go chillzatl. I got the perfect "mistake statement" for you.

"My bad guys . . I was thinking of RANDY LIVINGSTON, the overrated and oft-injured PG that went to LSU about 10 years ago, who was supposed to be the next superstar guard. You guys need to chill out. I just made an honest mistake and got my LIVINGSTONS mixed up.

There you go man. Use this.
