John Gilchrist.

This guy has fallen off the side of the earth. I know he worked out for us. I know he looked good in a lot of pre-draft camps. I don't know where he is right now, but the guy could compete for a BU PG spot for us.

The thing about Gilchrist is that he is a true PG. If he doesn't work out, we don't give him another 10 days. If he looks promising, we put him on a contract and send him down to Arkansas. If he looks really good, we tell Ivey... Move over.

That would be a nice pick-up. I forgot all about him since the season started. I have to bet he is on someone's developmental league team. I just can't believe a guy with his talent is out of work right now.

The Cavs were giving him a look and he was awful from what I read. I think he might have played on their summer league team.

I don't think he's on a NBDL team. If he was he'd be on an NBA roster, and he's not. i'm sure he's playing somewhere, no idea where

I think he has good bones and we should give him a couple of 10 day contracts. He was a top ACC PG. So far, that whole class of PGs have looked pretty good as pros... I think it won't hurt to give this one a shot especially for cheap.

Moreover, Summer League is not a good place to evaluate talent.

I think his rep as a major headcase and his clashes with Coach Williams at Maryland has a lot to do with a team not giving him a chance
