BK has passed on him 3 times, twice in the draft and once in free agency.

I really dont understand why? What is BK looking for then? To me, Chris Duhon is almost the exact mold of what we need at the 1. The only one closer than him might be Nash

they love duhon, and he's signed for 2.5 more years. So I'm assuming you mean that they'll trade him? For who?

Chris Duhon can not be traded without his permission until Aug 16. I don't know if he'd okay a trade to the Hawks or not - but nothing can be done without his permission until mid-August.

He may be a pure point guard, but he's a pure point guard that lacks top level athelticism and shooting ability.

Really good NBA backup, and a below average starter I think. I wouldn't mind getting him (though I despise his dookieness) because I think he's a legit NBA player and he could definitely add an element we don't have, but he'll never be a top flight kind of guy.

Not and answer to our problems, but on the cheap he'd be a good addition.
