Most of you will lough, but the player that i will go for is Dan Gadzuric, i think that he will be the alternative for Zaza.

I'll trade him for D. Smith and Edwards.

Don't kill me, but what i saw in this season makes me think that he could be a good trade for us.

I like Gadz, but Milwaukee would never trade him for an NBDL player & our pine warming center. They just locked him up to a 6 year deal this past off-season. They really think highly of him.

Actually we have talked about trading for Gadz a few times. They could use someone like Al there and Gadz would fit in well here. I would definitely like to have him.

I like Gadzuric. I think he and probably Melvin Ely are two guys that BK may be looking at right now.

Right now, Gadzuric is putting up 17.8 P/40 and 10.1 R/40. That gives you somewhat of an indication of what he might be able to put up if he were getting more than 12 minutes per game. He's also a career 1.17 BPG player and could probably increase that with more playing time.

Melvin Ely is a free agent at the end of the season, I believe. He would be a very good mid level signing that could give the Hawks some minutes as a back up center and power forward. Right now, he's playing around 25 minutes per game and his per 40 minute numbers are right around 17 P/40 and 9 R/40.

I'd like to know why it's funny to you that some people believe in Gadzuric. He's extremely atheletic, plays tough D, gets boards and is A BIG GUY!! What do you think the Hawks need to get this team to the next level?

KB, I get to see a few Bobcats' games on TV here in WNC, so I've watched Ely closely.

I like him as well, but I'm afraid someone will overpay him this offseason. They're are times when he's more effective in the post than Al is.

(And then there are games where he's invisible, but the same could be said for Al).
