Hey Hawks fans! The season is itching closer and closer and anxiety is building up? How will the Hawks play with Robinson, Reef and J.T.? How will Ira Newble adjust to the starting role? How will Dan Dickau play in his first N.B.A. season? Congratulations Hawks fans, you have made it to the 27th of October, and the N.B.A. season starts on the 29th. And since I have been writing on this page(approximately since July), all I have heard is conjecture or educated guesses about the outcome of this year's season. YOU, Hawks fans,have really displayed an awesome sense of loyalty, staying right by the Hawks' side despite losing seasons since 1998. Now is the time to be proud, and you are. And trust me I have seen and experienced the horrid Kings years(those were really bad). The Hawks really look like the 1998-1999 Kings, on the brink of the playoffs, making key acquisitions and bringing hype to the fans. Now, the Hawks will be winning, and alot. So, enjoy because the ride will be exciting!

Long time Hawks fans know what it feels like to be down

with little hope for improvement - The last year of L.W.

here we knew, the further the season progressed, the

lower we went, yet we hoped each game brought us one

more victory, one more chance to cheer for our Hawks.

Hawks management saw the writing on the wall and

tore down what was left of the team and started over.

Yes, we've been to the bottom. Now, for the first time,

we have an exciting season in front of us.

We expect great things from our beloved Hawks this

season. We expected to do much better last season

but the I.R. gave us more lost player games than any

other team in the N.B.A. DerMarr is already lost for

this season, but we are stronger, more experienced

to begin this one. We will overcome this and be one

of the best teams in the east this season,

Year after year I have to hear from friends and family. " How could you be a fan of a team like the Hawks, they don't win and other fans won't even cheer for them at the games." I just shrug my sholders and say you will see. I tell them don't come running trying to go to the games with me when they start to win. This year when they see this team win I am just going to look at them and smile. What a great season this is going to be.
