Guest
Atlanta trades: SF Glenn Robinson (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 37.5 minutes) SF Chris Crawford (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 37.5 minutes) Atlanta receives: SG Jalen Rose (21.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.9 apg in 36.7 minutes) C Dalibor Bagaric (4.0 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.0 apg in 9.0 minutes) Change in team outlook: +0.7 ppg, -1.4 rpg, and +1.4 apg. Chicago trades: SG Jalen Rose (21.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.9 apg in 36.7 minutes) C Dalibor Bagaric (4.0 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.0 apg in 9.0 minutes) Chicago receives: SF Glenn Robinson (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 6 games) SF Chris Crawford (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 6 games) Change in team outlook: -0.7 ppg, +1.4 rpg, and -1.4 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Atlanta and Chicago being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Atlanta and Chicago had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. You have been assigned Trade ID number 811045 Talk about it on the Trade Board How to use Trade ID: Go to http://www.realgm.com and enter the trade id into the box provided on the left menu bar, then press go. 1)We need some ball handling help for JT 2)It gives us more ways to attack a defense 3)We can Rose the offense through Rose when JT is on the bench. Big Dog has played well for us,but we need to fill some holes and this is a good way to do it. As for the Bulls....There is a a Spree/Rose trade rumor....I say we should jump first and go after Rose...Big Dog has done well, but he just isn't the player Rose is.Big Dog can't continue to average 5 turnovers a game. Big Dog might be a better fit with Chicago cause they can use a shooter while we need more of a allround player.
Guest
I'm really not sure I want to trade Dawg, but in the gist of playing along, how about this version... Atlanta trades: SF Glenn Robinson (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 37.5 minutes) SF Chris Crawford (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 37.5 minutes) SG Emanual Davis (3.2 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.8 apg in 13.8 minutes) Atlanta receives: PG Jamal Crawford (4.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.5 apg in 20.0 minutes) SG Jalen Rose (21.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.9 apg in 36.7 minutes) Change in team outlook: -2.5 ppg, -1.1 rpg, and +3.1 apg. Chicago trades: PG Jamal Crawford (4.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.5 apg in 20.0 minutes) SG Jalen Rose (21.4 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.9 apg in 36.7 minutes) Chicago receives: SF Glenn Robinson (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 6 games) SF Chris Crawford (24.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 4.5 apg in 6 games) SG Emanual Davis (3.2 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 0.8 apg in 6 games) Change in team outlook: +2.5 ppg, +1.1 rpg, and -3.1 apg. Premium Member Diesel Posted November 11, 2002 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 11, 2002 Atlanta trade SAR/JT/CC to Houston. Get back Giff, Francis, and Kenny T. We line up with: Theo/Nazr Griff/Thomas/Hendu Dog/Ham Ira/Glover Francis/DD/Email. With that squad, we don't need to worry about Ball handling. We also have an answer for Rebounds too. Plus, we'd have the best defensive squad in the game.
Guest
Big Dog has played a HUGE PART in the lost three loses....Other than scoring againest bad teams he is worthless.
PoppaFritz
I love how in every purposed trade, people always have Crawford getting traded, the funny thing is that no one in their right mind would want him. I think everyone is delusional to think that there is any market value for a below average player.
Guest
Nobody would want that forgien center either.Do you really think he is a average player? Most Bull fans will tell you he is the worse player in the league. I don't think CC is a below average bench player...he just fits what we need to trade when you are dealing with high salaries.
PoppaFritz
All I'm saying is that if I'm a GM and someone offers me C.C. I would tell them to offer up a real trade with some real worth. I understand that salaries have to fit but honestly most GM's are in the business of improving their teams and I don't see C.C. coming into any team and getting many minutes. Shoot, we'd have to be up by 20+ pts before C.C. would play more than 5-10 minutes.
Guest
That is not true...in fact,CC should play instead of the worthless Darvin Ham.
PoppaFritz
You are crazy! I mean honestly, C.C. is a joke I can't believe he has been in the league 5 years. The reason Ham has trade value is because he brings energy to the floor, yes he has little skill but he attacks the rim and at least rips a couple of boards. C.C.'s career stats from NBA.com: FG% - .429 3pt % - .291 Reb per game - 1.90 Assists - 0.6 TO's - 0.92 PPG - 5.6 Please enlighten me as to where the trade value is in this player??? I'm sorry, but you have lost total credibility with me, on this argument.
Guest
Crawford is the better player. What has Ham ever done?I've watched every game this year and I can tell you he is worthless. The other day he turned the ball over like 4 str8 times.Ham is worthless. He can't shoot ft's,rebound, play defense, shoot, score. he might make a open court dunk but Crawford can do that much. I love Hams 2PPG 1.6RPG http://www.nba.com/hawks/stats/stats_2001.html Look at CC last year...In close to the same time he averaged 2RPG more and scored 4PPG more.CC can atleast hit a ft. Ham is worthless. He can't even average 2RPG in 15MPG.Crawford last year averaged nearly more offensive rebounds than Ham does all together. Btw,Hams 3.4PPG for his career is a whole lot to brag about. Even the two years Ham averaged 4RPG it was for a Bucks team with no rebounders. Guest
in 14.3 mpg. always a key stat. Ham's numbers, in almost identical mpg and slightly more years in the league: 14.5 mpg fg% - .541 3pt% - .250 ft% - .493 (awful!) rpg - 2.80 assists - .7 to - .85 ppg - 3.4 so that's less production with a higher shooting percentage. awful free-throw percentage. Crawford's known for his D, while giving 100% while on the floor, leading to injuries... I have yet to see your side of this argument. The disparity in shooting percentages comes from the fact that Crawford actually takes shots while Ham relies almost solely on put-backs.
Guest
Yeah and the fact that Hams two ok rebounding years came on a Bucks team with no real rebounders. Also,Crawford can actually shoot a jumper and isn't a libility when there isn't a open dunk.CC jumper isn't great, but it's a hellva lot more than Ham can provide. PoppaFritz
I've figured it out! You are C.C., my apologies for offending you Mr. Crawford. But, unfortunately there still remains no trade value for you or your subpar ability. Plus, you are the one that brought Ham into it, did you guys get into it in practice or something. I don't care about who is better. They both suck and the Hawks couldn't get crap for either of one of them. The point I was trying to make is that most trades posted here are totally unreasonable and no G.M. would even consider going through with a trade because they get C.C. thrown in. Whoopee!!!! Sorry, for the reality of this post Mr. Crawford or Mr. Hotlanta who ever you are?
Guest
They both suck and the Hawks couldn't get crap for either of one of them." I thought you said Ham has trade value? ":Hotlanta is Chris Crawford" WoW...When you resort to that you know you have lost the arguement. You probably should argue with somebody else more DOWN to your level. PoppaFritz
Man, it's a joke. The fact that I said Ham has trade value is because teams can always use athletes. That's why the Hawks picked him up. It's a tough situation for him because he has two players that are similar to him but more skilled in Newble and Glover. You still haven't given any supporting evidence why any team would want C.C. Your only argument is that C.C. is better than Ham. That's not what I was asking. I would bet that if C.C. were released he would have a hard time making anyones roster, other than for the league minimum and last time I checked players making the league minimum don't have a lot of market value. Ham must of had some market value for the Hawks to pick him up and from what I can see they really aren't paying that much for a player who at times can bring some energy off the bench. Maybe people on this post have to say crazy things to get a worth while post out of you.
