JTFan31
Now I know Theo only avgs 8-9 pts a game, but actually he avg around 18-19 pts per game. Now you are probably saying that I'm crazy and where am I going with this. Very simple, Theo gets around 3-4 blocks per game while altering 4-5 shots. Thats about 9 buckets that he is taking away from the opposing team, transpiring to about 18 pts. The way I look at it, is that he takes so much pride on his defense just as much as Reef and Big Dog take pride on their offense. All of his blocks and altered shots are more opportunities for us to score. Basically the way I look at it, he gives as more possesions to score and I account that to his avg. Hey just another positive way to look at it. Im very happy with the way this team is playing and answering all the critics. 5-4 record with only 3 home games and 6 road, is darn good. Guest Walter
But he can also stretch defenses with his J and score a little also. Not bad for a guy who hasn't played in almost 2 years. How much better can he get? W
JTFan31
Scary, but we can get even better. The defense played superb last night, WHY? because we didnt let Jamal nor Baron go off on us. And who were they matched against, well against the 2 guys that everyone says they cannot play D, you got it, JT and Big Dog. Yes Walter this team will get better and thats scary. If we play like last night just limiting the TO's, watchout Eastern Conference, their are new sheriff's in town.
Gray Mule
Hawks are winning. They have a winning record for the first time in ages. We expect to be near the .500 mark around all-star time and we see so many things that we expect to improve as these players gain the experience of playing together, of eliminating a lot of turnovers and coming together as a team. Hawks are good and they can be so much better!! Wow!! We will still loose some games we should have won and hopefully, win some games that no expects us to win. As we get deeper into the season, we will be pulling away from the teams on the bottom and clawing our way toward the top in the east. I know that it's real early in the season but, if they started the playoffs right now, the Atlanta Hawks are tied for 7th in the east! It's been a long time since we could say that.
