pathway23
Mainly turnovers yes. The only area of concern other than turnovers is the offensive rebounding advantage other teams have on us so far. If they can control the ball better and box out better on D Rebounding the outcome will go in the Hawks favor most of the time. I think the turnovers will come down once the team gels. The defense is already effective, its just that the turnovers and offensive rebounds are allowing the opposition to attempt 100 more FG s than the Hawks have attempted, you will lose some games with that going on even with all other things average or better. Guest
The offensive rebounding, per my other post, was simply clear cut tonight - we don't take shots "in the offense." Consequently, the other team knows exactly what's going to happen when GRob gets the ball at the elbow or beneath, same, though to a lesser extent, with SAR. Because they know we're going to shoot, they can easily box out our guys who are not in the paint (becuase they're further out, still playing part of the offense). Guys have to start passing BEFORE they are foced to, ie. up in the air realizing they can't get a shot off. That's why GRob turns it over (well, taht and he can't dribble)
Snaggle
none of that is going to matter when you are 28th in the league in turnovers. Just to let you know
