Blunt91
I was just reading the article in the "Hawks News" section and it was saying that fans were beckoning Jordan to take the ball to the hole against the Hawks. I know Jordan is and was a great basketball player but it is a shame when the hometown is more concerned about a legend, who never put on a Hawks uniform, play well than the hometown team getting a win. Guest
The Franchise would be better off to move to another city and get new management. They should be moved to Charlotte. Even if the Hawks were winning they wouldnt be a sucess because nobody in downtown cares.Although downtown Atlanta is like a gutter and is really nasty and dirty and I avoid it at all costs. If you don't like it, I'm GLAD you avoid it all costs. There is not a better city in the country in my opinion and there are VERY few places I would rather live. Premium Member mrhonline Posted December 18, 2002 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2002 I too have been all over the U.S. (nearly 40 states...) and Atlanta is one of the worst cities I have seen to date. However, I think it's still undergoing its "growing pains..."
