Premium Member Diesel Posted January 2, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 2, 2003 This one takes some Imagination... Shareef to Houston Thomas/Cato/Theo/Big Dog to Portland Griff/Randolph/Anderson/Pippen to Atlanta Actually, this is NOT giving up. First let's check out everybody's perspective. SAR to Houston... No brainer. Gives Houston a much better Front Court. One capable of winning the West. Thomas/Cato/Theo/Big Dog to Portland... Not bad. OUt of this, Portland gets a very good defensive player to split time with Arvydas. They also get a big time scorer at SF... Thomas and Cato Represents Depth. In Atlanta... JT/Anderson/Pippen/Randolph/Hendu. This is not giving up. IN fact, Pip and Anderson are probably the only 2 players that can help JT's game. Secondly, Randolph is no Reef but he will be good in the future. However, he'll never play Starter in Portland. Oh Yeah.. What about Griff. Griff Splits time at the PF and SF... However when days go by, he'll replace Pippen at the SF giving us a good defensive lineup. Also, when Pippen's contract is UP... We get a 20 million dollar payoff. I think there's enough in losing Glover, Pip, Email that we can look at bringing in ONeal?? Maybe.
KB21
He's now in either Denver of Philadelphia. He went in the James Posey trade.
Dukegotgame
[censored] no. That would be giving up. Pippen and Anderson are getting old fast. While we may be able to get O'Neal, if we don't we are in very bad shape. I think there is going to be a big trade coming by reading what Babcock is saying.
