Bronson Arroyo

Dave O'Brien mentioned in his latest article that the Braves are in talks with the Reds about Bronson Arroyo.

Now, if they can land Arroyo, I will feel better about their chances at making a push for the WS. Arroyo will solve our problems at the #3 starters spot, and if we can keep him long term, he would make a good #2 starter going forward.

i hadn't heard that one, yet. i'm a big reds fan (ideal senerio for me would be the reds beating the braves in game seven of the nlcs), so losing arroyo would be a big blow, but if he went anywhere, i'd want him with the braves. he's a much better pitcher than his record suggests, and he's pretty cheap for as good as he is. it was a pretty big coup for krivsky to get him from the red sox, and resigning him.
