Nope. Didn't notice -- They keep winning.

Moss is gone and doing great, so is the new Philly and the

new Met, but Atlanta still wins.

Hitting and defense both doing great. New starting pitchers

are doing fine and they can hit, too!!

Still, we win and lead our division.

That's pretty rare for the Braves teams we've come to know. Usually their hitting and offense is pretty bland. It's definitely nice to watch though.

Last night, the Giants socked ot to the Braves.

Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're

the bug -- Last night, the Braves were the bug.

Oh weel, can't win 'em all. They may come back tonight.

Braves offense now stands #3 in the league in runs scored and #2 among non-Colorado teams.

We are so much better offensively. That is why we can absorb the loss of Millwood, Moss, and Glavine.

Don't fool yourself, though. Losing those pitchers was painful, and we WILL miss them.

I never complained about letting Glavine go. I would've never complained about letting Maddux go. However, the Millwood trade was just stupid, and trading a young stud (Moss) for a more expensive, but not better, Ortiz (economics, JS?) was not much smarter.

Ortiz and Hampton have been great, and Milwood will be back in Atlanta next season. No big loss, and we got Javy's replacement. But Andruw and Gary have been playing like MVPs
