...Pete Babcock was down right INCREDIBLE at acquiring talent via trade. The Mookie trade was brilliant. The Smitty/Long trade was brilliant. The Laettner trade was awesome, and Laett lit it up in his second year for us...man what a player he was during that AllStar season! Babs got Deke, who was and still is my favorite center of all time.

Pete Babcock was BY NO MEANS completely terrible at this job.
