Not at all.

I don't think defenses respect him... mainly because he doesn't have the desire to have the ball. In my day, we'd label Marvin "self checked"... meaning that he is not going to ask for the ball so there's no need to put a lot of time and resources into trying to figure out how to defend him.

Marvin's greatest asset right now is that he plays on a team with JJ.

concerning Marvin. I'm sure you aren't dumb enough to actually believe the crap that you spew out about him, especially this year. I hope Santa brings you a Directv with NBA League Pass so that you can actually watch the Hawks the rest of the season so that you can see Marvin working his butt off for position in the low block 75% of the time ... only to see whoever has the ball not give it to him 75% of those times. Get a real PG in here that keeps the ball away from Smoove on the perimeter and Zaza everywhere and you would see Marvin's stats shoot up big time.
