Well, Worthy was on Every Laker championship team. There's really no distinction?

However, you're right... Had I been talking about the earlier Laker champions, I would have dropped Scott and retained Cooper.

i.e. ChickenStanley... The only reason I named players at all was to distinguish the teams...not to emphasized who were the MVPs of the team....

i.e. MJ, Pip, Rodman and MJ, Pip, Grant. Would have been hard to diciphere had I just said MJ, Pip.... Right?

"Bulls....MJ, Pip, Rodman"

hands down. U got the best basketball player EVER whos in his own tier (GODLIKE BALLERS) of NBA PLAYERS. Not to mention, this guys offense is incredible. Got great team defense.

U got possibly the best SIDEKICK to ever play this game with allstar defense and enough offense to bug the other teams coach.

U got the best rebounder and a candidate of BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER award.

Surround them with a decent center and a decent PG... and u got urself a championship team.

How could you leave off my man Moses and his "fo, fi, fo" boys? 12-1 in the playoffs is still the best all time. 65-17 in regular season wasn't too shabby either.

Moses

Marc Iavaroni

Dr. J

Andrew Toney

Mo Cheeks

with First Team All NBA Defensive specialist Bobby Jones, Clint Richarson and Clemon Johnson off the bench? That was a great team and one of my favorite teams of all time.

only problem is that MJ (and Pip) were at their pinnacle/prime in '93. MJ'd been in the L long enough to learn most of the wily vet moves he clung to in his latest comeback but still had most of the athleticism and hops that he had back in the day. Rodman's one of the best...and we've had the argument on whether or not such a role player should be considered for the Hall...you take Rodman and supplant him on the '93 Bulls and things get truly scary.

Don't undervalue how good Grant was though...much more than what people recall (esp. after seeing him in Orlando).

I don't believe Worthy was on every Magic/Kareem

championship team. The Jamaal Wilkes/Norm

Nixon Lakers [don't remember the year] team that

destroyed the 76ers was before Worthy's time ??

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, that above mentioned team was, in

my, opinion, the best TEAM [not collection

of superstars] I ever remember. The fast break

was NEVER as good after Nixon left as it was

with him. That being said, it was still awsome

in the Scott years.

I think the Bulls team that beat Phoenix might have been better. Don't look at Record because the League had begun the process of being Watered down by that time... BUT You take got:

Ho Grant vs. Rodman.

Paxon vs. Kerr.

as the key matchups..

One other thought.

I think the Houston team that presented Hakeem/Drexler uninjured Might have been the best team on this list. Think about it this way... That year, the Bulls with MJ lost to Shaq and the Magic in the playoffs. Shaq and the Magic went to the finals and got SWEPT and dominated by the Rockets.

I think it was Cassell/Drexler/Ellie/Horry/Hakeem? At this time, these players were in their primes. I would have loved to see them play Rodman and the Bulls that won the next three with everyone healthy.

I was a big fan of Drexler and Hakeem. You got some good teams listed.I wouldn't list any of the teams after the Bulls

/Jazz series.

The lakers title againest the 76ers was the fact that

Shaq was passing out of his mind in those playoffs and

Fisher/fox played way above their head.

the Spurs 99 title was forgotten about by alot of people.

The league is way too waterdown now.

And it must be stated that that Magic team were not Chumps...

It was Shaq, Ho Grant, Penny, D. Scott, and Anderson all playing at or near their top level. ANd they were Crushed By Kenny the jet and company.
